Derrick Morgan fine with transition to linebacker

The Titans' Derrick Morgan is moving from defensive end to outside linebacker in Tennessee's new 3-4 scheme. He told TitanInsider.com that he played some linebacker at Georgia Tech, so the transition won't be that difficult.
"My first position playing football was at linebacker, but it's been awhile. It's not too different. It's not too foreign for me to stand up and play out of a two-point stance. I've just got to continue to work at it," Morgan said. "I moved around a lot, especially my junior year, all over the field, linebacker, blitzing and stuff like that. I've definitely done it before."
Morgan has 16.5 sacks in four years and will be counted on to provide a big pass rush this season.
"I feel like I can rush the passer. That's what I was brought in to do. I feel like I can cover if need be," he said. "I'm still playing in the NFL. This is a great job. This is a change-up, but something I'm definitely going to embrace and work hard at."
