Gronk read '80 percent' of own book, Deflategate 'most annoying thing ever'
Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has only read "about 80 percent" of his own book and thinks Deflategate is really annoying.

Feels like we've written roughly 400 posts about Rob Gronkowski's book. (And a few on the book about Gronk too.) Such is the nature of things when there's several hundred pages detailing Gronk's wild ways.
You're probably excited about reading it but don't feel bad if you skip some parts. Gronk certainly did. During an interview with Maria Menounos on Sirius XM for a "Town Hall" show, the Patriots tight end admitted he's read "80 percent" of his own book.
"I wrote it," Gronkowski said, before acknowledging he's read "about 80 percent of it."
"I'm not going to lie about it. That's what the book is. The book is all truthful. There's not no sugar coating or anything. It doesn't make me look good or put a false image in there. I ain't going to lie either, I read like 80 percent of it. But I know what better parts were in it and what it's all about.
"It was a quick deadline. I couldn't get to it all."
Gronk also talked about Deflategate, calling it the "most annoying thing ever."
"Next question," Gronk said when asked about it. "It's so ridiculous how long it's been dragging out. It's the most annoying thing ever, because wherever I go, no matter what, someone's bringing it up. If it's a fan, wherever you are, if you're on a plane, someone's bringing it up. It might be the most annoying process I've ever seen and I don't even know what's going on with it.
"It's just annoying and I can't wait for it to be over. Roger [Goodell] just needs to wipe it out and put it in the past. That's what I just feel like."
More potent quotables from Gronk:
On Tom Brady being motivated: "He has that energy at any time. He's so competitive that you don't need to give him a motive to bring it out on the field. Whatever time it is, whenever he's playing football, he's always bringing it. So I feel like he'll be out there with the same edge he always has.
On Jimmy Garoppolo: Definitely. He's been working hard and has grown up a lot. ... We all have a lot of confidence with whoever's in. It's not just a one-man show in football, that's what makes the game so great, is it's all about a team."
On playing with deflated balls: "I don't know. I've never used deflated balls before."
