Dallas' newest wide receiver is actually a lineman. (Twitter)

OK, so La'el Collins is not the best wide receiver in football or anything, but he does appear to have some pretty decent moves.

Collins shows good quickness here, beating press coverage with a nice outside release and not allowing the defensive back to get his hands on him.

The out-and-up he runs is a little shaky; those breaks are way too round. Collins needs to work on planting his foot and making a hard cut instead. But he finishes the play the right way, snatching the ball at its highest point with his hands rather than letting it get into his body.

Maybe the Cowboys will stow this away and let Collins declare as a tackle-eligible receiver a few times this year. Or maybe they'll just come to an agreement with Dez Bryant and let him catch all the back-shoulder fades he wants. That's probably a better plan.
