There's fandom and then there's this. (Twitter)

There's having an appropriate level of fandom for your favorite NFL team, then there's cranking that fandom up a notch to a level that should never be reached.

This Denver Broncos fan might have reached that level, but I'll let you decide.

At least he didn't get a "Super Bowl champs 2016" tattoo on his lip, but that still seems like a whole lot of pain for a tattoo that will pretty much remain unseen whenever that person isn't posing for photos by pulling his lip down towards his chin. Maybe it's a gift for his dentist, who also happens to be the biggest Broncos fan alive. Maybe it's ... nope that's all I've got.

Additionally, I sincerely hope that fan is ready to endure the seasons following Peyton Manning's retirement, which is definitely happening sooner rather than later. Maybe that's why he chose a location that pretty much hides itself. Who needs to get a tattoo removed when it's on the inside of your lip? Can tattoos on the inside of a lip even be removed?

Lastly -- and most importantly -- what was that fan thinking? And why?

I've got nothing but questions. So please don't come to me for answers.
