Do you really want to know why Peyton Manning and Hulk Hogan are hanging out, shaking hands at a wrasslin' event? Isn't it better to pretend that this was Manning's life-long dream, to hang out with the Hulkster?

It's totally possible. Manning was born in 1976, so he was between 8 and 15 years old during the height of Hulkamania. As someone who grew up during the Hulkster's heyday, I can promise you that Hogan is a top five childhood-level celebrity to meet.

The reality is the Broncos quarterback is probably a bigger celebrity (he's still plying his craft while Hogan's just here for a good time) but something like 9 out of 10 people you meet are going to know who Hogan is.

Someone get Manning a belt. Unless he's actually trying to recreate his '80s experience.
