The Rams, who tied for the league lead with 52 sacks last year, sacked Carson Palmer four times in a 27-24 home win.
Defensive end Robert Quinn led the way with three sacks as he beat left tackle Levi Brown with speed rushes. Quinn forced two fumbles, the Rams recovering one. Cornerback Trumaine Johnson added an interception on a poor throw by Palmer as the Rams DST finished with 10 points.
St. Louis didn't get much in the return game. Benny Cunningam returned two kickoffs for 46 yards, and Tavon Austin had a 1-yard punt return.
The Rams DST draws a tougher matchup next week in Atlanta.
