The Raiders announced the signings of defensive tackle Dan Williams and tight end Lee Smith on Wednesday.

Williams spent the previous five years with the Cardinals, where he started 40 of the 70 games he played in. Williams totaled 116 tackles and two sacks. He recorded a single-season best 45 tackles a year ago.

Smith spent the past four seasons with the Bills and is predominantly a blocking tight end. He was originally drafted by the Patriots in the fifth round in 2011 before being placed on waivers — which is how the Bills acquired him.
