Colts linebacker Erik Walden and his female companion were attacked, according to the Indy Star.

The Braselton Police state that Erica Palmer, who has two children with Walden, has been accused of slashing his arm with a knife and breaking the other woman's arm with a baseball bat. Palmer's children are alleged to have been in the vehicle at the scene at the time of the incident.

Palmer alledgedly parked her car outside Walden's home after she suspected that he was seeing another woman. Once the linebacker and his girlfriend arrived home, Palmer entered the house through the back door. It is said that Palmer had Walden's gun and a baseball bat.

After a struggle ensued, Walden wrestled the gun away but Palmer reportedly broke his girlfriend's arm with the bat. She then fled the home, only to reappear from the woods with a knife and slashed Walden's arm as he and his girlfriend were leaving in his car to go to the hospital.

The Colt has since been released from the hospital. The children have been placed in Walden's care for the time being.

Palmer was arrested on numerous charges following the incident.
