Rob Gronkowski wants to play Shaq in a 3-point contest
The best part about it? Shaquille O'Neal seems to be interested in taking on the Patriots star
There is no better test of basketball-shooting skill than a good old-fashioned 3-point contest. The weirder the contestants the better, and if Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski gets his way, my goodness we could see the greatest three-point contest ever.
After seeing Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley battle it out, Gronk tweeted he wants to go up against Shaq.
@NBAonTNT Love playing the three point contest. Let me get next vs Shaq lol 🏀

The best part? Shaq is interested.

Gronk played basketball in high school, as noted by For The Win's Charles Curtis, so there's a pretty viable chance he could not just make this interesting, but put the hammer on Shaq, who is a very large human but not exactly the greatest 3-point shooter.
So, um, DO IT.
