Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo heads into the opening week of the season with a solid track record against the Giants. He'll be looking to build off that at home on Sunday night.
Romo has also had some issues turning the ball over against New York. He completed 36 of 62 passes for 437 yards with one touchdown and four interceptions in his previous meeting against the Giants (Week 7). In two meetings against the Giants, Romo has racked up 744 passing yards with four touchdowns and five interceptions. He has averaged just under 231 passing yards through 14 career games against the Giants. His 27 touchdowns and 16 interceptions are the most he's had against any opponent.
Romo passed for a team-record 4,903 yards last year and owns all four 4,000-yard seasons in franchise history. He is the only Dallas quarterback to pass for 25-plus touchdowns in five different seasons.
New York allowed 4,299 yards through the air with 26 touchdowns and 21 interceptions. We expect Romo to continue his success against the Giants heading into the season opener. Consider him a must-start Fantasy option for Week 1.
