Nickell Robey-Coleman: Returns from COVID list
Robey-Coleman (undisclosed) was restored to the Lions' practice squad from the practice squad COVID-19 list Thursday.
Robey-Coleman was placed on the COVID list last week but is now clear of the health and safety protocols. He was a gameday elevation from the practice squad for Week 14 and totaled four tackles while playing 59 defensive snaps.

Robey-Coleman was placed on the Lions' practice squad COVID-19 list Tuesday.
The cornerback was active for the first time this season in Week 14 against the Broncos, making four tackles while playing 59 defensive snaps. Robey-Coleman will now enter the league's COVID-19 protocols, keeping him out of commission for at least the near future.

Nickell Robey-Coleman: Cut by Detroit
Robey-Coleman was released by the Lions on Tuesday, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.
Robey-Coleman found himself on the outside looking in after a couple of undrafted rookies in AJ Parker and Jerry Jacobs made names for themselves in the preseason. However, after logging seven straight seasons with at least 550 defensive snap, Robey-Coleman should easily find a spot with a more competitive team that might place less of an emphasis on developing younger players.

Lions' Nickell Robey-Coleman: Inks in Detroit
The Lions are signing Robey-Coleman on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Robey-Coleman managed 44 tackles (37 solo) across 15 games with the Eagles last season, in addition to one defensed pass, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. The 29-year-old veteran will bring valuable experience to Detroit's relatively young cornerback group.
