Browns' Joe Kerridge: Managing concussion
Kerridge did not practice Wednesday due to a concussion, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
It's unclear when Kerridge sustained the head injury, but he'll now need to fully clear the concussion protocol before suiting up for preseason action. He currently has an uncontested path to the 53-man roster, in the event that the Browns opt to keep a fullback.

Packers' Joe Kerridge: Plays nine snaps Thursday
Kerridge (shoulder) played nine offensive snaps in Thursday's preseason game against the Steelers.
Kerridge has been dealing with a shoulder injury that sidelined him for the preseason opener last week, but he was good to go for Thursday's contest. The 25-year-old will likely have to unseat Aaron Ripkowski at fullback if he is going to earn a spot on the Packers' 53-man roster.

Packers' Joe Kerridge: Sidelined with shoulder injury
Kerridge did not practice Tuesday due to a shoulder injury, Michael Cohen of The Athletic Wisconsin reports.
The injury looks to be a recurring issue for Kerridge this preseason, as he also missed practice last week due to a shoulder injury. He was back in full pads Saturday, but it looks like the fullback re-aggravated it at some point during the last couple of days.

Packers' Joe Kerridge: Misses practice with shoulder issue
Kerridge was not present for practice Tuesday due to a shoulder injury, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Kerridge landed on the Packers' practice squad at the end of 2018 after being jostled around between rosters and cut at one point in mid-December. He will need to prove his worth during training camp to stick on the 53-man roster in 2018, however, and that likely involves unseating Aaron Ripkowski for the fullback spot on the depth chart. An extended absence from practice wouldn't do him any favors, but it's best to consider him day-to-day unless something suggests otherwise.

Kerridge was promoted to the Packers' 53-man roster Saturday.
Kerridge spent about a month with the Packers before being waived earlier in December, but will finish the season on the 53-man roster. The 25-year-old will likely assume a similar role as his first stint with the team, mostly being a contributor on special teams.

Packers' Joe Kerridge: Cut by Green Bay
The Packers waived Kerridge on Tuesday.
After dressing for the Packers' first four games following his promotion from the practice squad Nov. 18, Kerridge was inactive in Sunday's 31-24 loss to the Panthers. The healthy scratch signaled that the team was no longer in need of his services as either a backup fullback or special-teams contributor, so Kerridge will now look to ply his trade elsewhere. If he goes unclaimed off waivers, he could reclaim a spot on Green Bay's practice squad.

Packers' Joe Kerridge: Promoted to active roster
Kerridge was promoted to the Packers' active roster Saturday.
Kerridge played eight games with the Packers last season and spent some time on the team's practice squad as well. He was then released before the beginning of the 2017 regular season only to return to the practice squad at the end of October. Look for Kerridge to fill a reserve/special teams role behind starting fullback Aaron Ripkowski.

Joe Kerridge: Waived off injured reserve
Kerridge (calf) was waived off injured reserve Friday after reaching an injury settlement with the Packers, Michael Cohen of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Kerridge, an undrafted free agent in 2016, spent much of his rookie season on the Packers' practice squad before being moved up for the final portion of the season. He was held back by a calf injury during camp, and was never considered a likely candidate to make it on the 53-man roster. He will now be free to look for new opportunities once his health allows it.

Packers' Joe Kerridge: Heads to IR
Kerridge (calf) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
Kerridge was expected to be a practice squad player in 2017, since Aaron Ripkowski was the Packers' short-yardage man last season and will be again. Don't expect Kerridge to be activated from injured reserve unless Green Bay's backfield suffers major injuries.

Packers' Joe Kerridge: Expected to watch final preseason game
Kerridge (calf) is not expected to play in Thursday's exhibition finale against the Rams, Michael Cohen of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Kerridge was a practice squad member last season, but was promoted to the active roster when the Packers suffered injuries in their backfield. The team currently has plenty of depth at running back, reducing Kerridge's chances of making the active roster. However, he does appear to have a strong chance of securing a practice squad role.

Packers' Joe Kerridge: Plays sparingly in 2016
Kerridge logged 20 offensive snaps across eight games played in 2016, rushing once for zero yards.
Kerridge went undrafted out of Michigan last spring before heading to Washington for training camp. He didn't survive final cuts though and ultimately wound up on the Packers' practice squad in early October. However, he was promoted to the active roster in November when the team needed running back depth and subsequently played in every game from Week 10 on, primarily on special teams. Now set to hit free agency once again, he'll likely land somewhere that's not Green Bay considering the team's starting fullback, Aaron Ripkowski, is under contract for another two years.

Packers' Joe Kerridge: Signs with Packers
Kerridge signed with the Packers on Monday.
Kerridge is an undrafted rookie out of Michigan who has since resided on the Packers' practice squad. While he profiles as a fullback and will thus provide depth for an injury-depleted backfield, Kerridge is unlikely to achieve fantasy relevance in 2016 and was likely promoted to the active roster solely to beef up Green Bay's special teams play, as the unit surrendered a kickoff return touchdown on the very first play Sunday versus the Colts.
