Ufomba Kamalu: Under arrest
Kamalu was arrested Thursday and charged with alleged domestic violence, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
The purported incident occurred Wednesday morning, resulting in Kamalu's release by the Ravens mere hours later. He's toggled between the practice squad and 53-man roster of four different organizations since entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2016. As such, he's unlikely to find employment until the legal process plays itself out, and perhaps beyond that if he's deemed worthy of a suspension by the league.

Ufomba Kamalu: Cut by Baltimore
Kamalu was released by the Ravens on Wednesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
The 27-year-old was first released by the Ravens in November but rejoined the team in January, and he's now headed back to free agency. Kamalu didn't see game action last season and last appeared in two games for the Patriots in 2018.

Ufomba Kamalu: Let go by Baltimore
The Ravens waived Kamalu on Tuesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Kamalu joined the Ravens on Oct. 26, but he didn't take a snap over two contests. If the 26-year-old clears waivers, he may revert to the Ravens' practice squad or seek out another 53-man roster.

Ravens' Ufomba Kamalu: Scooped up by Ravens
Kamalu has agreed to a deal with the Ravens, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Kamalu was picked up off the Patriots' practice squad, which means he will be getting a paycheck from both New England and Baltimore during the Ravens' Week 8 bye. He will now have some extra time to get acclimated with the team's defense, where he is expected to provide depth at defensive end.

Patriots' Ufomba Kamalu: Joins Pats' active roster
Kamalu was promoted to the Patriots' 53-man roster Friday, Kevin Duffy of the Boston Herald reports.
Kamulu was released by Houston at roster cutdowns in September, but he makes his way back to an NFL roster after spending time on New England's practice squad. Coach Bill Belichick indicated they believe the 26-year-old can play defensive tackle in addition to defensive end/outside linebacker, so he could be in store for a versatile reserve role with the Patriots.

Texans' Ufomba Kamalu: Re-signs with Houston
The Texans re-signed Kamalu, an exclusive-rights free agent, to a one-year, $630,000 contract Thursday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
The 25-year-old has made 13 appearances (two starts) with the Texans over two seasons in the NFL, logging 11 tackles and three sacks. Now that he's back in the fold for 2018, Kamalu will likely serve as a backup to edge rushers Jadeveon Clowney (knee) and Whitney Mercilus (pectoral).

Texans' Ufomba Kamalu: Inactive for Week 9
Kamalu is a healthy inactive for Sunday's game against the Colts.
Kamalu had a sack in each of the past two games, but it apparently wasn't enough for him to suit up against the Colts. Veteran Lamarr Houston will likely start at outside linebacker for the Texans, with Brennan Scarlett serving in a reserve role.

Texans' Ufomba Kamalu: Promoted to 53-man roster
Kamalu has been promoted to the Texans' 53-man roster from the practice squad, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Kamalu has been working out at outside linebacker since signing with Houston and will serve as insurance in Sunday's home game against San Diego after the team ruled starting John Simon out due to a chest injury. Kamalu is a 6-foot-6, 295-pound undrafted free agent from the University of Miami.
