    The Commanders released Stallworth (undisclosed) from injured reserve Thursday after reaching an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. The injury settlement allows Stallworth to join another team once he's fully recovered from his injury. He appeared in one regular-season game for the Titans in 2023, playing six defensive snaps without recording a tackle in Week 6 against the Ravens.

    The Texans re-signed Stallworth to a one-year contract Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. In 2022, Stallworth made one appearance for the Texans, who claimed the undrafted defensive tackle out of South Carolina off waivers in December. Apparently, Houston liked what they saw from the veteran and have opted to retain him for the 2023 campaign. Stallworth was a solid rotational piece for the Saints (2018-2019) and the Colts (2020-2021), but he's never been an IDP asset with career highs of 16 tackles and three sacks in a season.
