    Stallworth signed a one-year contract with Kansas City on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports. Stallworth appeared in 16 games in each of the last two seasons with the Colts and served mainly as a rotational piece, but he did register a career-high three sacks during the 2021 campaign. The undrafted defensive tackle out of South Carolina figures to provide depth for Kansas City's defensive line in 2022.

  • Colts' Taylor Stallworth: Leaves Saturday's game early

    Stallworth (hamstring) is out for the remainder of Saturday's preseason contest against the Vikings, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. Stallworth injured his hamstring at the beginning of training camp and appears to have suffered a setback. The 26-year-old defensive tackle appeared in all 16 games for the Colts last year, mainly serving as a backup. Chris Williams and Joey Ivie will get extended looks if Stallworth is forced to miss time.

  • Colts' Taylor Stallworth: Leaves practice with injury

    Stallworth limped off the field at Saturday's practice and had his hamstring wrapped, Stephen Holder of The Athletic reports. Stallworth recorded 12 total tackles in 16 games for the Colts last year and re-signed with the team during the offseason. The severity of the injury is unknown, but he'll have a couple weeks to recover before the preseason opener Aug. 15 against Carolina.

    Stallworth was promoted to the Saints 53-man roster Monday, Field Yates of ESPN reports. Stallworth was waived by the Saints just a few weeks into the season but subsequently cleared waivers and landed back on their practice squad. He will now get another look on their active roster providing depth in the trenches.
