Meeks signed a deal with the Saints on Friday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports. The 26-year-old cornerback last played in the NFL in 2020, logging six total games on special teams with the Jaguars and Chargers. Meeks spent the last year in the USFL and will be looking to latch on and get his first playing time as a cornerback since the 2018 season.

  • Jaguars' Quenton Meeks: Listed as questionable Week 13

Meeks (knee) carries the questionable tag for Sunday's matchup with the Colts, Phillip Heilman of The Florida Times-Union reports. Meeks practiced in a limited capacity each day this week. His participation is a step in the right direction, considering Meeks didn't practice at all last week. With the rest of the team's cornerbacks relatively healthy save for Jalen Ramsey (knee) and Tre Herndon (ankle), it seems the team wouldn't be impacted much if Meeks misses Sunday.

  • Jaguars' Quenton Meeks: Progressing in recovery

Meeks (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. It's a step in the right direction that Meeks was able to practice on a limited basis Wednesday, considering that he did not practice in any extent last week. The 22-year-old continues to work through his recovery from an MCL sprain suffered Week 8 and will attempt to get healthy in time for Sunday's tilt against the Colts.

  • Jaguars' Quenton Meeks: Out again Week 11

Meeks (knee) was ruled out for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports. Meeks continues to deal with the MCL sprain suffered Week 8 against the Eagles. The 22-year-old has no firm timetable for his return as he has yet to resume practicing. The Jaguars defense is unlikely to be significantly affected by his absence with A.J. Bouye (calf) and the rest of the cornerback group now healthy.

  • Jaguars' Quenton Meeks: Expected to miss time with MCL sprain

Meeks (knee) suffered an MCL sprain during Sunday's 24-18 loss to the Eagles and is expected to miss time, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Meeks drew the start Sunday with A.J. Bouye (calf) and Tyler Patmon (neck) both nursing injuries, but will now remain sidelined for some time himself. Entering Week 9 of the regular season, Jacksonville does not have a single healthy right cornerback on the 53-man roster. The Jaguars will hope that one of Bouye or Patmon is able to get healthy during the team's bye week.

  • Jaguars' Quenton Meeks: Draws start at cornerback

Meeks will start at cornerback Sunday against the Eagles in London, John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site reports. Called up from the practice squad just over three weeks ago, Meeks will suddenly be thrust into a key role on defense with three of Jacksonville's top four cornerbacks sidelined due to injury. With reigning first-team All-Pro Jalen Ramsey occupying the other starting corner spot for the Jaguars, expect the Philadelphia offense to attack Meeks early and often at Wembley Stadium.
