Deontay Burnett: Waived by Dallas

The Cowboys waived Burnett on Monday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports. Burnett inked a deal with Dallas following a successful workout in July, but the team has now decided to part ways with him. The USC product last played in the NFL in 2020 when he tallied three receptions for 19 yards in just two games with the Eagles, but he's found some success the last two springs while recording a combined 60-684-8 line in the XFL and UFL.
