Kamara, who had been on the team's practice squad, replaces defensive tackle Maliek Collins (quad). The latter was placed on injured reserve Tuesday and will miss the remainder of the season. Kamara is in his fourth season with the Cleveland organization and had a career-high 15 tackles in 2024.

Kamara (concussion) was a limited participant in Cleveland's practice Wednesday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Kamara has missed the team's past two games due to a concussion but managed to return to practice Wednesday. However, the 26-year-old will still have to clear the league's concussion protocol in order to be able to play Sunday versus Kansas City.

Kamara was placed on the Bears' practice squad COVID-19 list Tuesday.
Kamara has played in five games this season for the Bears, recording five tackles (four solo). With Roquan Smith (hamstring) currently questionable for Monday against the Vikings, Kamara was looking at another possible shot on the active roster. Kamara is vaccinated, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports, which means he could return in time to be available Monday, if he is able to produce two negative COVID tests at least 24 hours apart.

Kamara was waived by the Bears on Wednesday but cleared waivers and has now landed back with the team. He's appeared in three games with Chicago this season, logging three total tackles.
