Cochran was elevated from the Bengals' practice squad to the active roster in Cincinnati's last three regular-season games. He will give the Bengals additional depth on the offensive line for the rest of the regular season.

Cochran was initially placed on the active/PUP list last Sunday with an undisclosed injury. Now that he's been shifted to injured reserve, Cochran will sit out the 2023 season unless an injury settlement is reached.

Cochran spent last season on the Bengals' practice squad after going undrafted out of Georgia Tech. It's currently unclear when he suffered the injury, but his placement on the active/PUP list, as opposed to reserve, suggests it could be short term and he'll be to play in the preseason.
