    Minnesota waived Kunaszyk (undisclosed) from its injured reserve list Wednesday, per the NFL's transactions log. Kunaszyk has spent the entire regular season so far on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury, but he's now on his way out with the Vikings entirely. He'll have to look for his next chance with a different team.

    Kunaszyk (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports. Kunaszyk had spent the previous two seasons in Cleveland and was working to make it on the Vikings after joining the team earlier in August. Instead, the 27-year-old's move to IR will keep him out for the 2024 campaign, unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team.

    Head coach Kevin Stefanski noted Sunday that Kunaszyk will be out for multiple weeks after suffering a torn MCL in Saturday's 33-32 preseason loss to the Chiefs, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports. Kunaszyk left in the first quarter of Saturday's game and did not return. He was a key piece for the Browns' as a rotational piece at linebacker and contributed mostly to special teams, totalling 22 tackles over 15 games in 2022. Matthew Adams and Mohamoud Diabate are candidates to replace Kunaszyk as depth pieces behind starting middle linebacker Anthony Walker.

    The Browns re-signed Kunaszyk on Monday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports. Kunaszyk is now slated to stick around in Cleveland for a second consecutive season. The 26-year-old has mainly operated in a special-teams role across his first four years in the NFL, but during this past campaign he registered career highs in defensive snaps played (99), special-teams snaps played (314) and tackles (22) before eventually missing the Browns' final two games due to a hand injury. With a full offseason to move past the issue, Kunaszyk is poised to reprise his depth linebacker/special-teamer for the team in 2023.
