Lions' Anthony Firkser: Secures four passes in loss
Firkser caught all four of his targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 29-24 loss to the Steelers.
Firkser saw a similar workload on offense, logging 25 snaps with the unit after 22 in Week 15, but he was able to secure four passes. The tight end played 20 fewer snaps on offense than Shane Zylstra (45), but Firkser was able to finish with one more catch than his teammate. Firkser and Zylstra will likely continue to split the offensive opportunities at tight end against the Vikings on Christmas Day, limiting both of their production.

Lions' Anthony Firkser: Catchless in Week 15
Firkser didn't draw a target in Sunday's 41-34 loss to the Rams.
Firkser saw his offensive snap count drop from 35 to 22 in Week 15 with Shane Zylstra returning from a knee injury that forced him to miss 11 contests. Firkser has now caught both of his targets for 11 yards while playing 75 snaps on offense over four games with Detroit this year, and he has little to no fantasy utility moving forward.

Lions' Anthony Firkser: One snag in victory
Firkser caught his only target for seven yards in Thursday night's 44-30 win over the Cowboys.
Firkser was officially added to the active roster prior to Week 13, and he has now combined to catch both of his targets for an uninspiring 11 total yards over the last two weeks. With Sam LaPorta (back) and Brock Wright (neck) both on injured reserve, Firkser and Ross Dwelley will likely continue to operate as the team's primary options at tight end moving forward.

The Lions signed Firkser to the active roster from the practice squad Wednesday.
Firkser signed with the Lions' practice squad in mid-November and was elevated for their Week 12 win over the Giants. With both Brock Wright (neck) and Sam LaPorta (back) sidelined, Firkser should have a chance to be active for Thursday's game against the Packers.

Firkser was elevated to the active roster ahead of Sunday's 34-27 overtime win against the Giants, failing to record any stats while playing three snaps on offense and seven snaps with the special-teams unit. The tight end finished as a distant second option at his position with Brock Wright logging 60 snaps on offense, but he did finish ahead of Ross Dwelley (2). With Sam LaPorta (IR, back) likely sidelined for the rest of the regular season, Firkser should have another opportunity to be elevated in the near future.
