McTyer was competing for the nickel corner spot throughout camp, but he ultimately lost the job and reverted to a reserve role. With Benjamin St-Juste (concussion) unavailable, the 26-year-old saw his first extended action of the season in Week 4. If St-Juste is still sidelined for Week 5, then Darryl Roberts and Troy Apke will be the most likely candidates to step up.
