Godin (knee) was waived from the Texans' Physically Unable to Perform list Tuesday.
Godin landed on the PUP list after clearing waivers earlier in May. The second-year pro didn't play a snap in his rookie season and will look for a depth role once healthy.

Texans' Matthew Godin: Lands on Texans' PUP list
Godin (knee) was placed on the Texans' Physically Unable to Perform list Monday.
Godin missed the entire 2017 season after tearing his ACL in the preseason. It isn't a surprise that he's still in recovery, and it's realistic to expect him back on the field for the start of training camp.

Matthew Godin: Waived by Houston
Godin (knee) was waived by the Texans with a failed physical designation, The Houston Chronicle reports.
Godin spent nearly all of the 2017 season on injured reserve after tearing his ACL in the preseason. It appears he has yet to fully recover from the injury, leading to his being waived from the team. If he clears waivers, he'll likely have to wait until he's back to full health to get an opportunity with another team.
