Hatfield seems to be over whatever the undisclosed injury was that caused him to land on the Rams' injured reserve earlier this season. There has been no word on a deal, however.

Dominique Hatfield: Looking for new squad
The Rams waived Hatfield (undisclosed) from IR with an injury settlement Tuesday, freelance NFL writer Howard Balzer reports.
Hatfield was a strong special-teams asset for the Rams in 2017 and 2018, but he couldn't stay healthy preseason. Once he clears waivers, he'll be free to sign with another team.

Hatfield played 10 games with the Rams last season, recording one tackle and 204 snaps on special teams. An ankle injury caused Hatfield to miss the final three games of 2018, though he appears to be healthy to begin the Rams' offseason program.

Hatfield was promoted from the practice squad following the placement of Aqib Talib (ankle) on injured reserve. The 23-year-old will serve as a depth cornerback and special teams option in Los Angeles, and could see defensive snaps against the Vikings on Thursday if Marcus Peters (calf) is unable to suit up.

Hatfield had been listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Eagles, but will now hope to latch on with another team or a practice squad, assuming his hip injury doesn't prove to be a significant issue. Despite returning to the game Sunday, it's nonetheless good to see the 22-year-old doesn't appear to be suffering any ill effects from the potential injury at this point.
