  • 49ers' Deommodore Lenoir: Another strong campaign

Lenoir (shoulder) finished with 85 tackles (53 solo), two interceptions and one forced fumble across 15 starts in 2024. Fresh off of a five-year contract extension, Lenoir proved to be worth the paycheck with nearly identical stats to his stellar 2023 campaign. The 25-year-old did suffer a shoulder injury in Week 17 and wound up missing two games overall this year. Assuming the injury isn't too serious, Lenoir is lined up to be a fixture in San Francisco's secondary for years to come.

  • 49ers' Deommodore Lenoir: Won't play Sunday

Lenoir (shoulder) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports. Lenoir appears to have sustained a shoulder injury in the 49ers' Week 17 loss to the Lions, despite playing 100 percent of the team's defensive snaps and recording nine total tackles. The Oregon product was unable to practice all week due to this issue, making it no surprise he won't suit up in Week 18. With Lenoir sidelined Sunday, Rock Ya-Sin or Isaac Yiadom (pelvis, questionable) will likely serve as one of San Francisco's starting cornerbacks.

  • 49ers' Deommodore Lenoir: Will miss first game of season

Lenoir (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 13 matchup against the Bills, Lindsey Pallares of the 49ers' official site reports. Lenoir underwent an MRI on his knee Monday and didn't practice at all this week. His absence Sunday will mark the first regular-season contest he's missed since his rookie 2021 campaign. Though Lenoir being sidelined Sunday will undoubtedly be a blow to San Francisco's secondary, the team will be getting back Charvarius Ward (personal) from a three-game absence.

  • 49ers' Deommodore Lenoir: Ruled out due to personal reasons

Lenoir (personal) won't play in Sunday's matchup against the Bears, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Lenoir played a major role for San Francisco's secondary during the first three weeks of the season, playing at least 40-plus defensive snaps in each game. However, the 22-year-old cornerback hasn't been a part of the defensive game plan over the past three contests, so his absence shouldn't affect the 49ers' rotations.
