  • Saints' Paulson Adebo: Doesn't carry injury designation

Adebo (ankle) was a limited participant in Friday's practice session but doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Vikings, John Hendrix of SI.com reports. Although Adebo was unable to return to the practice field in a full capacity Friday, he'll be able to play through his high-ankle sprain in Week 4. He played nine defensive snaps last week and logged a solo tackle.

  • Saints' Paulson Adebo: Limited Wednesday

Adebo (ankle) was a limited participant at the Saints' practice Wednesday, John Hendrix of SI.com reports. Adebo was once again limited at practice to open the week while he nurses a left high-ankle sprain. That being said, the cornerback played through the injury in Week 3, registering a tackle while playing nine defensive snaps versus the Panthers. He'll likely suit up again Sunday versus the Vikings.

  • Saints' Paulson Adebo: Listed as questionable for Week 3

Adebo (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's contest against the Panthers, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. Adebo returned to practice in a limited fashion this week and has a shot to make his season debut in Week 3. If available, he'll likely reclaim his starting spot across from Marshon Lattimore. As a rookie, the 2021 third-round pick recorded 66 tackles, eight pass defenses and three interceptions over 17 games.

  • Saints' Paulson Adebo: Limited with high-ankle sprain

Adebo (ankle) was listed as a limited participant on the Saints' injury report Thursday. Adebo said Thursday he has been sidelined for the first two weeks of the season due to a left high-ankle sprain suffered in late August, but that he is "feeling better and better every day," Luke Johnson of NOLA.com reports. The 2021 third-round pick added he would attempt fully participate during practice Friday in order to test his ankle before Sunday's game against the Panthers. Adebo recorded 66 tackles, eight passes defended and three interceptions over 17 contests as a rookie, and he will step back in as New Orleans' starting cornerback opposite Marshon Lattimore when healthy this season.

  • Saints' Paulson Adebo: Ruled out for Week 2

Adebo (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Buccaneers, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports. Adebo didn't practice at all this week, so it's not surprising to see him ruled out for a second straight game. In his absence, Bradley Roby figures to draw another start opposite Marshon Lattimore in the Saints secondary.

  • Saints' Paulson Adebo: Doesn't practice Wednesday

Adebo (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday. Adebo sprained his ankle at the beginning of training camp and suited up for the exhibition opener before being sidelined for the final two preseason games. He was ruled out for the regular-season opener after not practicing at all last week and appears to be trending in the same direction ahead of Week 2. Bradley Roby started opposite of Marshon Lattimore in Week 1 and would likely do so again Sunday if Adebo is eventually ruled out.

  • Saints' Paulson Adebo: Managing left ankle sprain

Adebo said Wednesday that he's dealing with a sprained left ankle, Terrin Waack of NOLA.com reports. Adebo sustained his injury during practice last Wednesday and didn't suit up during Friday's preseason finale against the Chargers. He hasn't yet practiced this week but said Wednesday that he expects to play in the Saints' regular-season opener against Atlanta on Sept. 11. Adebo will presumably be monitored over the next week and a half, but his ankle issue doesn't sound like a significant concern.
