  • Titans' Trenton Cannon: Joins Titans

Cannon agreed to a contract with the Titans on Wednesday, John Glennon of SI.com reports.

Cannon spent most of the 2021 campaign with the 49ers and played only two offensive snaps in 11 contests, as most of his contributions came on special teams. The 27-year-old was productive as a return man, bringing back 16 kickoffs for 328 yards. He'll likely slot in as backfield depth and as a core player on special teams while with Tennessee.

Whether he's available for Sunday's wild-card matchup against Dallas remains to be seen, but it's encouraging to see the 27-year-old back at practice.
