  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Misses one in loss

Dicker made his lone extra-point try and missed one of two field-goal attempts in Sunday's 17-10 loss to the Chiefs. Dicker connected on a 50-yard FGA to help give the Chargers a 10-0 lead in the first quarter. However, on their opening drive of the second half he had a 55-yard attempt that missed wide right, his first miss of the season. The 24-year-old is now 7-for-8 on FGAs this season, while he's 5-for-6 on PATs.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Makes lone FG attempt Week 3

Dicker made his only field-goal try and his only extra-point attempt in Sunday's loss to Pittsburgh. Dicker didn't get many opportunities in the contest, but he converted when called upon, making a 28-yard field goal in the second quarter. The 24-year-old has gone 6-for-6 in field-goal tries and 4-for-5 in extra-point attempts through three weeks. He's had one field-goal try of beyond 50 yards -- a 53-yarder against the Raiders in Week 1 that he successfully converted.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Misses first PAT of his career

Dicker made both of his field-goal attempts but missed one of three extra-point tries in Sunday's 26-3 win over the Panthers. Dicker missed the first point-after attempt of his NFL career after the Chargers' opening-drive touchdown. He was perfect afterward though, making field goals from 46 and 42 yards out, while also making the PATs on the team's other two touchdowns.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Kicker to Start

I'll stick with the theme of loving all things Chargers in Week 2, and Dicker should be a top-five kicker in all leagues. He's coming off a solid game in Week 1 against the Raiders with 3-of-3 field goals, including one from 53 yards, and he made his lone extra point. The Panthers just allowed Blake Grupe to make 4-of-4 field goals and 5-of-5 PATs, so Dicker should stay hot in Week 2.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Productive in win

Dicker connected on all three field-goal attempts and his only extra-point try in Sunday's 22-10 win over the Raiders. Dicker was the Chargers' only source of points through three quarters, hitting field goals from 53, 25 and 24 yards out, one in each quarter. The Texas product's PAT would come on a J.K. Dobbins touchdown to start the fourth quarter that gave the Chargers the lead for good.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Kicker to Start

Dicker closed last season on a tear, and hopefully that carries over to Week 1 against the Raiders. He scored at least 13 Fantasy points in each of his final three games, with 49 total points over that span, and he made 12-of-13 field goals. He did all of that with just four PATs, and the Chargers offense should give him more scoring chances this week with Justin Herbert back under center. Dicker is worth starting in all leagues for Week 1.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Inks four-year deal with Bolts

The Chargers and Dicker agreed to terms Friday on a four-year, $22 million contract extension, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Dicker's new deal reportedly includes $12.5 million guaranteed. As a result of the contract, Dicker is linked to Los Angeles through the 2028 season. In his two-year career, Dicker has converted 52 of 55 field-goal attempts and all 59 of his extra-point tries, making him one of the most reliable placekickers in the NFL. There could be a chance for him to improve his fantasy production this season if new coach Jim Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Greg Roman can put the Chargers in more consistent scoring position.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Excellent in second season

Dicker converted 31 of his 33 field-goal attempts and all 35 of his extra-point attempts over 17 games for the Chargers during the regular season. After years of poor kicking production, the Chargers appear to have finally struck gold in the form of Dicker, who has missed just three of his field-goal attempts dating back to his 2022 rookie season. He seemed to quell any concerns about long-distance kicks, as the 23-year-old made seven from 50-plus yards out after failing to make his lone attempt from that range in 2022. The introduction of head coach Jim Harbaugh could add value to Dicker's fantasy prospects next season, considering the aggressive fourth-down tendencies that Brandon Staley displayed during his tenure will likely be tossed to the wayside in favor of a more conventional approach.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Excellent despite loss

Dicker made all five of his field-goal attempts and also nailed his only extra-point try in the 24-22 loss to the Bills on Saturday. Dicker put together an absolutely monster performance including a 53-yard field goal that looked like it had another eight yards to spare, but it would have been tough to predict this sort of outcome given Easton Stick led an offense that previously struggled to generate much in a blowout loss against the Raiders last week. It's clear the second-year kicker is one of the most accurate in the league, and at this point concerns about a lack of leg strength seem unfounded, but offensive consistency likely caps Dicker's fantasy upside most weeks.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Kicker to Sit

Dicker has scored six Fantasy points or less in four games in a row, and he hasn't attempted a field goal in consecutive outings against Denver or Las Vegas. The Raiders game in Week 15 was the first one without Justin Herbert (finger), and Dicker only had four PATs. Things will hopefully improve for Dicker and the Chargers offense in Week 16 against Buffalo, but the Bills are No. 5 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing kickers. I would avoid Dicker in all leagues in this matchup.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Small role in loss

Dicker made both his sole field goal and extra point in Sunday's 20-10 loss to the Ravens. Dicker converted his only field-goal attempt from 39 yards in the first quarter and tacked on an extra point in the fourth. The 23-year-old has made every attempted field goal since Week 3, and is 17 for 18 on the year, with his only miss being a 53-yard attempt. The second-year kicker has proven to be accurate throughout the year and will continue to be a solid option for managers if the Chargers hope to overcome their recent drought, especially against a struggling Patriots team in Week 13.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Makes all kicks

Dicker made his only field-goal attempt and both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Chiefs. Dicker converted from a career-long 55 yards on his lone field goal. Through six appearances, he sports 40 points, having made 24 of 25 total attempts.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Automatic yet again

Dicker connected on his lone field-goal attempt and also made all three of his extra-point attempts in the 24-17 win over the Raiders on Sunday. It was a pretty typical game for Dicker, who continues to be near automatic when it comes to field goals within 50 yards. The second-year starter has yet to miss a kick under 50 yards in his NFL career and is situated in an offense that is well-regarded as one of the best in the league.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: No good on long field goal

Dicker missed his lone field-goal attempt from 53 yards out, but he did connect on all four of his extra-point attempts in the 28-24 win over the Vikings on Sunday. Dicker isn't known for his strong leg, so the missed field goal isn't entirely surprising. The second-year kicker is just 1-of-3 on attempts from 50-plus yards in his career, including the playoffs; however, he's missed just one other field goal out of his 26 tries to date. Dicker figures to be in a good spot to add to that total in a matchup against the vulnerable Raiders defense this week.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Kicker to Start

When looking for your Fantasy kicker you want a good offense and a good stadium/weather situation. It also helps when you get a high-scoring game, and that's what we have here with Dicker. This should be one of the better point totals of the week with an expected over-under of 51, and Dicker should get plenty of scoring chances in this matchup. He already played Miami last year and made 3-of-3 field goals and two PATs at home in Week 14, and it would be great if he replicated that stat line again in the rematch.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Fellow kicker traded

The Chargers have traded Dustin Hopkins to the Browns, leaving Dicker as the team's lone kicking option, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. The two had been competing for the team's Week 1 kicking assignment, but with Hopkins on the move, Dicker is slated to handle the job ahead of the coming season. In that context, the 23-year-old profiles as a viable fantasy option while working with the Chargers' Justin Herbert-helmed offense.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Kicking battle back on

Dicker is expected to compete against Dustin Hopkins for the kicking role with the Chargers, Eric Smith of the team's official website reports. Hopkins had been sidelined with an undisclosed injury for the majority of camp up until now, which has led to Dicker taking on all the kicking responsibilities. However, it now looks like this is going to be a legitimate competition. Dicker made all six of his field-goal attempts in the competition at practice today and is now 58-of-64 (90.6 percent) at camp in kicks that were being counted. Hopkins, on the other hand, is 10-of-15 on his attempts.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Getting majority of practice reps

Dicker has taken all of the practice field-goal attempts over the last couple of special teams periods, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports. Dicker entered training camp in an apparent battle for the starting job with veteran incumbent Dustin Hopkins, but the latter has not attempted a field goal since the beginning of the week, and the Chargers have not mentioned Hopkins dealing with any sort of injury. Dicker made 19 of his 20 field-goal attempts last season in relief of the injured Hopkins, with the lone miss coming in the team's dreadful wild-card loss to the Jaguars.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Locked in position battle

Dicker is expected to compete with Dustin Hopkins for the team's top kicking job, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports. Hopkins seemed to solve the team's kicking woes over the past two seasons, converting 27 of 30 field-goal attempts since joining the team in Week 7 of the 2021 campaign. A hamstring injury in Week 5 of the previous year abruptly ended the veteran's 2022 campaign, but Dicker filled in admirably, making all 19 of his field-goal attempts before missing a critical one in the team's embarrassing playoff loss. Dicker is the younger and cheaper option (Hopkins signed a three-year, $9 million extension in 2022), but it's unclear if the Chargers feel comfortable moving forward with the undrafted rookie given his less-than-ideal leg strength (he missed his only attempt of 50-plus yards last season). Expect the two to be locked into a heated battle through the final days of training camp.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Staying in Los Angeles

Dicker will remain in Los Angeles after the Chargers picked up his exclusive rights free-agent tender Tuesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports. Dicker finished last season converting 21 of his 22 field-goal tries and all 24 of his extra-point attempts. After leading the NFL in field goal percentage in his rookie season, the 22-year-old certainly did enough to give the Chargers confidence in handing over the starting job to him for the 2023 campaign. Assuming the offense can take a step forward next season under new coordinator Kellen Moore, Dicker should be a solid fantasy option.
