    The Cardinals cut Perkins from the practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Perkins joined the Cardinals' practice squad Oct. 16 after being let go from the Broncos' injured reserve Sept. 17 due to an undisclosed injury. Perkins last saw NFL regular-season action in 2023 with Denver, when he posted 13 tackles (nine solo) across seven games.

    The Broncos waived Perkins (undisclosed) from injured reserve Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Perkins was placed on the Broncos' IR on Aug. 7 with an unspecified injury. Monday's move allows the 2021 third-round pick to sign with another team when he is healthy. Perkins appeared in seven regular-season games for Denver in 2023 and finished with 13 tackles (nine solo) while playing 167 snaps (146 on defense, 21 on special teams).

    Perkins (undisclosed) reverted to injured reserve Wednesday after going unclaimed on waivers, per the NFL's transaction log. Perkins was waived/injured by the Broncos on Tuesday and after clearing waivers, he's reverted to the team's IR. The third-year outside linebacker will now miss all of 2024 unless the two sides reach an injury settlement at some point this year.

    The Broncos waived Perkins on Thursday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports. Denver signed Perkins off the Patriots' practice squad in September after he failed to ever see the field during his first two seasons in New England. The 2021 third-round pick then made his NFL debut with the Broncos in Week 5, and he went on to appear in five straight games before falling out of the defensive rotation from Week 11 onward. Perkins tallied eight tackles while playing 106 of his 127 snaps on defense with Denver.

    The Patriots placed Perkins (ankle) on injured reserve Thursday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports. Perkins' ankle injury has plagued him for much of the 2021 campaign, causing a delay to his NFL debut. After being placed on injured reserve, the rookie third-round pick will now be shut down for at least three weeks. A potential return in the playoffs is possible but seems unlikely due to his lack of playing time during the regular season.
