Ian Berryman: Parts ways with Jets
The Jets waived Berryman on Wednesday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.
Berryman's release clears a spot on the roster for newly signed quarterback Joe Flacco. The punter joined Gang Green on a reserve/future deal at the close of the regular season, but his departure now leaves Braden Mann as the lone option at his position on New York's roster.
