  • Demetrius Knox: Let go by Seattle

The Seahawks waived Knox (knee) with a failed physical designation on Thursday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Knox missed his entire rookie campaign due to a knee injury sustained during the preseason, and he still doesn't appear to have fully recovered. The Ohio State product will look to make a return to full health before searching for another shot at a depth role with a new club.

  • Seahawks' Demetrius Knox: Placed on IR

The Seahawks placed Knox (knee) on injured reserve Tuesday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Knox was carted off the field during Sunday's preseason contest against the Vikings. His injury remains undisclosed, but the rookie out of Ohio State is likely done for the season.

  • Seahawks' Demetrius Knox: Carted off in Minnesota

Knox (knee) had to be carted off in the fourth quarter of Sunday's preseason matchup with Minnesota, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Things didn't look good for the rookie lineman, who was grabbing his knee prior to being carted off. This injury will almost certainly put an end to Knox's bid for a roster spot this season.

  • Seahawks' Demetrius Knox: Cleared for training camp

The Seahawks activated Knox (foot) off their Non-Football Injury list Tuesday after he passed his physical, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio 950 KJR Seattle reports.

Knox had been battling a foot injury since early June, and it was unclear whether he'd be ready for camp. This news confirms the undrafted rookie will be ready for camp as he battles for a depth spot on the offensive line.

  • Seahawks' Demetrius Knox: Placed on NFI list

Knox was placed on the Non-Football Injury list Wednesday with a foot injury, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

Head coach Pete Carroll said in mid-June that Knox may not be ready for training camp, and Wednesday's news obviously doesn't bode well for the undrafted rookie. Although we now know the nature of the injury, we still don't know how serious the issue is or just how much time Knox could miss.

  • Seahawks' Demetrius Knox: Status up in the air

Head coach Pete Carrol said Thursday that Knox (undisclosed) may not be ready for training camp, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

It's unsure what exactly Knox is dealing with and how serious the issue is, although the fact that the team is unsure of what his status will be come late July isn't a great sign. Knox went undrafted out of Ohio State but proved in college that he can be a consistent starter when healthy healthy.
