• Broncos' Damion Willis: Joins Denver

  Rotowire May 18, 2021

Willis signed a contract with the Broncos on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. It's a bit odd to see the Broncos sign a free agent wide receiver after recently releasing 2018 fourth-round pick DaeSean Hamilton (knee), but Willis likely is meant to just provide some depth at the position. The 23-year-old had stints on the Browns and Jaguars practice squad last season, but hasn't played in a game since 2019.

• Browns' Damion Willis: Latches on with Cleveland

  Rotowire Aug 26, 2020

The Browns claimed Willis off waivers Wednesday. Willis was let go by the Bengals after he produced nine catches for 82 yards across 10 games as a rookie last season. The undrafted free agent out of Troy in 2019 could just be a depth option in camp with Damion Ratley (groin) and KhaDarel Hodge (personal) missing camp.

• Bengals' Damion Willis: Good to go

  Rotowire Aug 4, 2020

Willis (undisclosed) passed his physical Monday, Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports. Willis jumped on and off the 53-man roster for Cincinnati in 2019, ultimately finishing his rookie campaign with nine receptions for 82 yards. With A.J. Green healthy and the team adding Tee Higgins via the draft, Willis will likely face an uphill battle to secure a spot this season.

• Bengals' Damion Willis: Nine grabs in 2019

  Rotowire Jan 24, 2020

Willis hauled in nine of 16 targets for 82 yards across 10 regular-season games in 2019. Willis spent the season shifting between Cincinnati's practice squad and active roster, and injuries to both A.J. Green and John Ross played a role in his earning a depth role. He'll fight to carve out a larger workload in 2020.

  Rotowire Dec 22, 2019

Willis (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Marisa Contipelli of the Bengals' official site reports. With Willis inactive and A.J. • Damion Willis: Drops to waivers

  Rotowire Oct 23, 2019

The Bengals waived Willis on Wednesday, Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports. This shouldn't be construed as a sign A.J. Green (ankle) is near a return, as Willis played just 10 offensive snaps over the last two games and drew one target. The undrafted rookie is a candidate for the team's practice squad if he clears waivers.

• Bengals' Damion Willis: Gains eight yards

  Rotowire Oct 2, 2019

Willis caught his only target for an eight-yard gain during Monday's 27-3 loss to the Steelers. Following Willis' five-target, three-catch debut, the rookie receiver has just two catches on four targets in his last three games. Given his role as a down-roster receiver on a Bengals offense that has failed to top 20 points through the first quarter of the season, he shouldn't garner any consideration for fantasy purposes, even with a favorable matchup against Arizona's 24th-ranked pass defense on deck.

• Bengals' Damion Willis: Special teams only

  Rotowire Sep 24, 2019

Willis was limited to four special teams snaps in Sunday's loss to the Bills. Willis has been bypassed by Auden Tate in the Bengals' receiving corps and is at risk of losing his roster spot once A.J. Green (ankle) returns. The good news for him is that Green won't return for Week 4, but it's a far cry from Week 1, when Willis started against the Seahawks.

• Bengals' Damion Willis: Three catches Week 1

  Rotowire Sep 10, 2019

Willis had three catches for 30 yards in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks. He had five targets in the passing game. Willis nominally was the starter for the Bengals, but the real story was John Ross's breakout game. Still, he's one of the three most used receivers for the Bengals right now, behind Tyler Boyd and Ross, until A.J. Green (ankle) returns.
