  • Broncos' Bo Nix: Week 8 Waiver Priority List

Nix has emerged as one of the better running quarterbacks this season, and he has at least 61 rushing yards in each of his past two games against the Chargers and Saints. He also scored at least 19.3 Fantasy points in three of his past five games and now gets a favorable matchup against Carolina in Week 8 before facing Baltimore in Week 9, Atlanta in Week 11 and Las Vegas in Week 12. It might be time to consider using Nix in deeper one-quarterback leagues, and he should be added for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Broncos' Bo Nix: Adds/Streamers (QB Preview)

The Panthers have seen the 21st most pass attempts from opposing QBs, and they've allowed the third most passing TDs. Nix has at least 25 rushing yards in five of seven games and 136 yards combined in his last two games. If you want to trust the projections, he's the top streamer and a top-12 QB this week.

  • Broncos' Bo Nix: Efficient in big win

Nix completed 16 of 26 passes for 164 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions and rushed 10 times for 75 yards in the Broncos' 33-10 win over the Saints on Thursday night. Nix faced a Saints team that was significantly short-handed on offense, so he had the luxury of being able to run a fairly conservative game plan that limited his exposure as a passer. The rookie managed to remain free of turnovers for the fourth time in the last five games, and he connected with six different targets overall. Nix's rush attempts and rushing yards were both new career highs as well, and he appears to be making solid week-to-week progress heading into a favorable Week 8 home matchup against the vulnerable Panthers on Sunday, Oct. 27.

  • Broncos' Bo Nix: Week 7 Waiver Priority List

Nix has scored at least 19.3 Fantasy points in three of his past four games, including at least 24.7 points in two contests in a row against the Raiders and Chargers. He's run for at least 25 yards in four of six games, including three rushing touchdowns, and it's time to consider him as a potential starter in deeper leagues. He has a tough matchup in Week 7 at New Orleans on Thursday, but then he faces Carolina in Week 8. Nix is worth adding for at least 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Broncos' Bo Nix: Throws two more TDs in loss

Nix completed 19 of 33 of pass attempts for 216 yards, two touchdowns and an interception while rushing six times for 61 yards in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Chargers. Nix followed up last week's two-score performance with another pair of touchdowns against the Chargers on Sunday. The rookie first-rounder had just one touchdown pass in his first four games with Denver, so his recent ability to finish off drives shows some development as a passer. Nix's ability as a rusher (37-180-3) gives him value as a deep-league option heading into Thursday's matchup against New Orleans.

  • Broncos' Bo Nix: Leads efficient offense

Nix completed 19 of 27 passes for 206 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 34-18 win over the Raiders. He added eight rushes for nine yards and an additional score. Nix didn't have his best game from a yardage perspective, but his command of the offense looks to remain on the upswing. He averaged 7.6 yards per attempt and completed five passes of at least 20 yards -- both of which marked career bests. After throwing a pair of picks in each of his two games as a pro, Nix now has also started to avoid mistakes with zero turnovers across his last three matchups. While things have improved, he's still not likely to be a consistent source of fantasy points as he has yet to reach 250 passing yards in a game, and Sunday's win marked his first effort with multiple passing scores.

  • Broncos' Bo Nix: Struggles in victory

Nix completed 12 of 25 pass attempts for 60 yards and one touchdown while adding five rushes for three yards against the Jets on Sunday. The Broncos somehow pulled off the 10-9 win, but Denver's passing game (60 yards) was less productive than the rushing attack (126 yards), which highlights the lopsidedness of the team's offense at the moment. The Jets' defense is likely one of the best in the league and rain was a factor, so Nix's struggles can be rationalized somewhat, but it still isn't easy to see how the Broncos are supposed to establish a consistent offense with their current personnel most weeks. Nix will hope to build some momentum against Las Vegas in Week 5.

  • Broncos' Bo Nix: Week 4 Waiver Priority List

It will be tough to trust Nix in Week 4 at the Jets, but he just scored 19.3 Fantasy points in Week 3 at Tampa Bay. He should be rostered in all Superflex and two-quarterback leagues, and we'll see how he continues to do moving forward. The nice thing about Nix is his rushing prowess, and he's scored at least 9.5 Fantasy points in two of three games with just his legs alone. He should be added in all Superflex and two-quarterback leagues for at least 10 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Broncos' Bo Nix: Shows plenty of progress in win

Nix completed 25 of 36 passes for 216 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions and added nine rushes for 47 yards and a score in the Broncos' 26-7 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday. Nix and the Broncos went into a presumably difficult and unseasonably warm road environment, but neither the rookie nor his teammates appeared fazed at any point. The rookie 12th overall pick averaged a modest 6.0 yards per attempt, but he steered clear of any turnovers for the first time in his nascent career. Nix demonstrated his usual prowess on the ground as well, and he recorded his second career rushing touchdown on a three-yard run to cap off Denver's opening drive. He connected with an impressive nine pass catchers overall, perhaps showing an increasing command of coach Sean Payton's offense heading into a Week 4 road matchup against the Jets next Sunday.

  • Broncos' Bo Nix: Picked twice in loss

Nix completed 20 of 35 passes for 246 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Steelers. He added four rushes for 25 yards. Nix struggled throughout the game, as he ended the first half with only seven completions for 39 yards. He picked up his performance a bit in the final two quarters, though he threw a key pick in the end zone halfway through the third quarter, significantly changing the momentum of a two-possession deficit. Nix's line also benefitted from a 49-yard completion that came on a trick play two calls earlier. Nix has had a tough start to his pro career, failing to throw a touchdown across two games while being picked off four times. He's also averaging only 5.0 yards per attempt.

  • Broncos' Bo Nix: Runs in first TD

Nix completed 26 of 42 pass attempts for 138 yards and two interceptions while rushing five times for 35 yards and the first touchdown of his NFL career in Sunday's 26-20 loss to Seattle. Nix was named the Broncos' starter earlier this week and punched in his first score as a pro late in Sunday's comeback attempt against the Seahawks. The 12th overall pick also threw two interceptions while averaging just 3.3 yards per attempt, resulting in a poor fantasy performance. Nix's ability as a runner is what gives him value for those in 2QB formats, but there are likely safer options in standard leagues.

  • Broncos' Bo Nix: Week 1 Waiver Priority List

I'm looking forward to seeing what Nix can do in his rookie campaign, and he landed with the right coach in Sean Payton. I don't expect Nix to post dominant stats, but he could prove to be a reliable No. 2 Fantasy quarterback in 14-team leagues.

  • Broncos' Bo Nix: Next start, Week 1

Nix won't play in Sunday's preseason finale against the Cardinals, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports. With Nix being held out of the team's final exhibition game, coach Sean Payton relayed that Jarrett Stidham will start Sunday and play 8-12 snaps, after which Zach Wilson will get an extended look, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports. The next game action Nix will see comes Sept. 8, when he's scheduled to start against the Seahawks in Week 1. The No. 12 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft was officially named Denver's starting quarterback following Wednesday's practice.

  • Broncos' Bo Nix: May be named starter soon

Nix may be named as the Broncos' starting quarterback this week, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports. Stevens expects coach Sean Payton to make an announcement in the coming days, after Nix completed eight of nine passes for 80 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-2 win over Green Bay while leading the Broncos to 10 points on their first two drives. Nix also was solid in the preseason opener -- 15-for-21 passing for 125 yards and a TD -- and his scrambling has been encouraging from a fantasy standpoint (six rush attempts for 29 yards in two games). Veteran quarterback Jarrett Stidham has been much less impressive this preseason, completing 11 of 18 passes for 102 yards with one rushing TD and two interceptions.

  • Broncos' Bo Nix: Confirmed as starter Sunday

Coach Sean Payton said Friday that Nix will start Sunday's preseason game against the Packers, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports. Payton's comments confirm the plan he proposed ahead of Denver's preseason opener last week, which Jarrett Stidham started. Nix, who completed 15 of 21 passes for 125 yards and one touchdown while rushing three times for 17 yards versus the Colts last week, will work with the first-team offense against Green Bay on Sunday. Stidham will then enter the contest, followed by Zach Wilson.

  • Broncos' Bo Nix: To start second preseason game

Coach Sean Payton announced Friday that Jarrett Stidham will start Sunday's preseason opener against the Colts, while Nix will start the team's following contest Aug. 18 versus the Packers, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports. DiLalla notes that Nix will play after Stidham gets his reps Sunday, followed by Zach Wilson, with Nix potentially getting in some snaps with the first-team offense. Despite a posted unofficial depth chart that favors the team's veterans at this stage, Nick Kosmider of The Athletic notes that Stidham and Nix have largely split first-team practice reps since camp training began. Meanwhile, Parker Gabriel of the Denver Post suggests that Nix remains expected to push Stidham for the starting job by Week 1, adding that it would be a moderate surprise if the rookie first-rounder didn't end up getting the nod.

  • Broncos' Bo Nix: Showing improvement

Head coach Sean Payton said that he's pleased with Nix's progress and noted the quarterback performed "overall, pretty well" during Wednesday's practice, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports. Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post suggests that Wednesday represented Nix's best day of practice in pads, as well as his best showing yet with the first-team offense. The Broncos have also given Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson reps with the starters in camp, although it's unclear if that will continue for Wilson, given that he's now gone three days in a row without any first-team snaps, per Ryan McFadden of The Denver Post. The job battle may be narrowing down to two quarterbacks with preseason games on the horizon, and Nix remains a favorite to start Week 1 if only due to his status as a first-round pick and because he's facing such shaky competition.
