The Dolphins waived Gabbert on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Gabbert originally signed with Miami as an undrafted free agent in May before being cut in late July. The soon-to-be 25-year-old quarterback signed back with the Dolphins on Friday but was let go again two days later. Gabbert may now try to get a look from another organization.

Gabbert spent his entire six-year collegiate career at Miami (OH) and signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft. He'll try to find work as a camp arm elsewhere.
