Patriots' Terrell Jennings: Plays in three games as a rookie
Rotowire
Jennings finished the 2024 regular season with 13 carries for 33 yards in three games with the Patriots.
Jennings, who originally joined the Patriots as an undrafted free agent last May, didn't make the team's initial 53-man roster and spent the bulk of his 2024 season on the practice squad. The Florida A&M product remains under contract with New England in 2025 and will thus have an opportunity compete for a complementary role in a backfield that's currently led by Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson and figures to add some depth options this offseason.

Patriots' Terrell Jennings: Gets roster spot with New England
Rotowire
The Patriots signed Jennings to their 53-man roster Saturday, Mark Daniels of MassLive.com reports.
New England originally gave Jennings a look by signing him as an undrafted free agent in mid-May. The Florida A&M product didn't make the Pats' roster out of training camp, but he has been on the team's practice squad and was elevated for Week 6 against Houston, when he carried five times for 13 yards. Jennings will provide running back depth Sunday against Buffalo due to JaMycal Hasty being ruled out with an ankle injury, and given New England's current 3-11 record, the team may elect to give Jennings a longer look before the regular season is over.

Patriots' Terrell Jennings: Gets elevation from practice squad
Rotowire
Jennings was elevated from the Patriots' practice squad to their active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's Week 6 matchup versus Houston, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Jennings will get his first elevation -- and potentially his first NFL action -- as a result of New England's starting running back, Rhamondre Stevenson, being ruled out for Week 6 due to a foot injury. Jennings played college ball at Florida A&M and was signed by the Patriots as an undrafted free agent in May. He'll likely work behind Antonio Gibson and JaMycal Hasty in New England's backfield Sunday.
