Jennings has been brought back to the Patriots' practice squad after being waived just one day ago. The Florida A&M product rushed 120 times for 673 yards and 10 touchdowns during his final collegiate season in 2023.

Jennings signed with New England in May as an undrafted free agent. The Florida A&M product spent training camp competing for a depth spot at running back, and he finished the preseason with 12 carries for 74 yards across three games. Jennings opened training camp on the sidelines with an undisclosed injury but appears to be all set to return to the practice field now. The running back has an uphill battle to crack the Patriots' active roster in 2024, so he'll look to make up for the lost time in the coming days.

The Patriots placed Jennings on the active/PUP list Friday with an undisclosed injury, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Jennings landed in New England as an undrafted free agent in May, and it looks like he picked up an injury somewhere along the way. He will be eligible to come off the PUP list once his health allows. Once he does that, the rookie will compete for a depth role in New England's backfield.

Jennings signed with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent Monday.
Jennings ran for 704 yards and 10 touchdowns during his final collegiate season at Florida A&M last year. The running back recorded 1,860 yards and 24 touchdowns in his 44-game college career. The rookie will now try to catch on in a Patriots backfield headed by incumbent Rhamondre Stevenson and free agent signee Antonio Gibson.
