The Lions waived Paulo on Sunday.
Paulo has spent time with New Orleans, Denver and Detroit since coming out of Utah as an undrafted free agent in 2020. The 26-year-old has spent most of his career on these teams' practice squads, and he has yet to make his NFL debut.

Lions' Darrin Paulo: Re-joins Detroit
Paulo signed a contract with the Lions on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Paulo spent time on and off of Detroit's practice squad last season after being waived from Denver's roster in October. The 25-year-old will likely compete with Matt Nelson, Obinna Eze and Dan Skipper for a backup offensive tackle role during training camp.

Darrin Paulo: Cleared from COVID list
The Broncos activated Paulo off the practice squad COVID-19 list Wednesday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Paulo tested positive for the virus Nov. 4, so the fact that he was cleared is a great sign. Paulo will return to the team's scout team pushing to earn a spot on a team's 53-man roster in Denver or elsewhere around the league.
