Shaw, who possesses the versatility to take snaps at both cornerback and safety, projects to serve a depth role with the Cardinals in 2019. The 26-year-old appeared in four games with the Chiefs and four games with the Buccaneers last season, totaling 12 tackles.
Shaw was waived by the Chiefs on Saturday.
Shaw signed with the Chiefs in early October and recorded four tackles as he was active for four of the six games he was on the roster. The return of Daniel Sorensen from injured reserve last week provides the necessary depth for Kansas City to part ways with Shaw.
Shaw was released from the Bengals' injured reserve in early September with an undisclosed injury but he's apparently ready to retake the field. The 26-year-old bolsters Kansas City's depth at safety while Eric Berry continues to battle a heel injury.
Shaw (undisclosed) was released from the Bengals' injured reserve on Thursday, Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports.
Shaw ended up on Cincinnati's injured reserve after being waived/injured with an undisclosed injury. Now, upon reaching an injury settlement with the Bengals, Shaw will be an unrestricted free agent.
