Pruitt agreed to a contract with the Titans on Saturday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Pruitt appeared in 31 games for the Titans over the last two seasons, and he'll rejoin the team after a brief time on the open market. The 27-year-old totaled 15 catches for 192 yards and two touchdowns, so he's unlikely to become a significant factor in the passing game in 2020.
Pruitt caught all four of his targets for 28 yards in three postseason games.
The 27-year-old worked as a reserve tight end for Tennessee all season, but he found more involvement in the passing game after the Week 11 bye with Delanie Walker (ankle) injured. Pruitt totaled six catches for 90 yards and one touchdown in 16 games this season. He's headed for free agency in March and is likely to fill a similar role wherever he lands in 2020.
Pruitt hauled in both of his targets for 13 yards and a touchdown in the team's Week 17 win over the Texans.
Pruitt worked behind Jonnu Smith as the team's primary tight end, but proved to be more impactful on the stat sheet. His primary contribution came early in the second quarter, when he caught a one-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Tannehill. Pruitt failed to contribute for much of the regular season, but he did record all six of his receptions starting in Week 12. At the conclusion of the season, Pruitt will hit free agency and should remain a depth option wherever he lands. However, in the immediate future, he'll look to help Tennessee try to go on a deep playoff run.
Pruitt hauled in both of his targets for 15 yards in the team's Week 16 loss to the Saints.
Pruitt recorded both of his catches in the third quarter, the first of which went for five yards in the midst of a drive that ended in a touchdown. He later added a 10-yard reception, logging multiple targets and catches in a contest for the first time this season. He'll look to remain involved in the team's Week 17 matchup against the Texans.
Pruitt turned his only target into a 42-yard gain in the Titans' Week 14 win over the Raiders.
Pruitt was on the field for 53 percent of the team's offensive snaps, but he worked primarily as a blocker. His lone impact on the stat sheet came halfway through the third quarter when he caught a deep pass down the right side of the field. It was only Pruitt's second reception of the season, and he remains firmly behind Jonnu Smith on the team's depth chart.
Pruitt hauled in his lone target for 20 yards in the Titans' Week 12 win over the Jaguars.
Pruitt hauled in his first catch of the season late in the opening quarter, when he caught a short pass before turning it upfield for a big gain. He also logged a snap rate of 51 percent, the fourth time this season that he's remained on the field for at least half of Tennessee's offensive plays. However, his limited volume in the team's passing game depresses any fantasy value he'll be able to record.
Pruitt hauled in both of his targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 33-17 loss the Colts.
Pruitt maintained his minimal role in the passing game even in the absence of Marcus Mariota, tying Luke Stocker for the team lead in targets among tight ends. Since Week 11, Pruitt has caught at least one pass in every game, though he has never surpassed 29 yards and hauled in only one score in that span. If he remains on the team in 2019 -- he's signed through next season -- Pruitt is unlikely to see any type of consistent role in the offense given that both Delanie Walker and Jonnu Smith are good bets to return to health and retake their roles atop the tight end depth chart.
Pruitt hauled in two of his three targets for 29 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 25-16 win over Washington.
Pruitt saw a season-best three targets and led the Titans' tight ends with 29 yards and a touchdown. While he did little to capitalize on Jonnu Smith's (knee) absence in Week 15 against the Giants, the athletic tight end hauled in a two-yard score to give the team a 19-16 lead late in the fourth quarter. Pruitt will almost certainly be buried on the depth chart heading into the 2019 season, meaning he'll continue to be of little fantasy consequence.
Pruitt caught one of his two targets for two yards in Sunday's 17-0 win over the Giants.
Pruitt failed to make an impact in the absence of Jonnu Smith (knee), hauling in only one pass for the fifth consecutive game. He's also shown little ability to turn his opportunities into significant yardage, averaging just 9.4 yards per catch. As a result, he is not relevant in any format.
Pruitt hauled in his lone target for nine yards in Thursday's 30-9 win over the Jaguars.
Pruitt has recorded one catch on one target in each of the four games he has been active this season. Though the Titans' tight end corps remains crowded, Jonnu Smith's (knee) season-ending injury could open up a few more targets for Pruitt to close the season. There's little indication he'll be able to take advantage, however, as he has averaged just 9.2 yards per catch and recorded zero touchdowns in 32 career games.
Pruitt caught his lone target for 13 yards in Monday's 34-17 loss to the Texans.
Pruitt's reception converted a first down on the Titans' opening drive of the second half. It was just his second catch of the season and there is no obvious path to him becoming more involved in the passing game. Fellow tight ends Jonnu Smith and Anthony Firkser have both seen more consistent targets from Marcus Mariota.
Pruitt caught his lone target for 19 yards in Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Colts.
Pruitt was one of four Titans tight ends to haul in a pass Sunday, recording his first catch of the season and as a member of the team. He set up the team's lone touchdown of the game, getting pushed out of bounds at the 1-yard line. The game was already well in hand for the Colts at that point, making Pruitt's contributions largely meaningless. Don't expect him to be a big part of the Titans' game plan going forward.
Pruitt was signed from the Texans practice squad to the Titans' active roster on Monday, Paul Kuharsky of 104.5 The Zone Nashville reports.
With star tight end Delanie Walker (ankle) placed on injured reserve Monday, the Titans will bring in Pruitt to shore up their depth at tight end for the time being. Pruitt likely won't have much of a role in Tennessee's offense unless another injury occurs.
The Texans added Pruitt to their practice squad Tuesday.
Pruitt failed to earn a spot on the Texans' 53-man roster during final cuts so he will have to settle for a role on their 10-man practice unit instead. He will presumably spend the season there unless injuries on the main roster create an opportunity for him.
Pruitt was waived by the Texans on Sunday.
Pruitt initially made the roster as a fourth tight end, but was deemed expendable after Houston claimed Natrell Jamerson off waivers from the Saints.
Pruitt (calf) was practicing at Texans' training camp Wednesday.
Pruitt missed the final few games of 2018 after landing on injured reserve in December with the calf injury. The 26-year-old was active for only one game with the Texans last season and will have an uphill battle to earn a spot on the team's 53-man roster.
Pruitt (calf) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
Pruitt was inactive for Sunday's loss to the Jaguars and will now be sidelined for the final two games of the year as the Texans decided to pull the plug on the 25-year-old's season. Pruitt played in just one game for the Texans, logging 13 offensive snaps.
Pruitt (calf) is listed as inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Pruitt was looking to play his second game of the season, but Stephen Anderson will once again be the sole tight end on Houston's roster. Regardless, Pruitt likely wouldn't have had much of a ceiling against the Jags, who have been the fifth-stingiest against tight ends this season.
Pruitt is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars with a calf injury.
Pruitt joined the Texans' 53-man roster early last week and was a new addition to the injury report as a limited participant Friday. The 25-year-old is the only tight end on the roster besides starter Stephen Anderson and seems likely to play Sunday if healthy enough to do so.
Pruitt was promoted to the Texans' active roster Tuesday.
Pruitt spent almost the entire season with the Texans' practice squad but now gets the call-up after C.J. Fiedorowicz (concussion) was placed on injured reserve. Stephen Anderson will likely take over starting responsibilities at tight end, but Pruitt could see offensive reps as he is the only other healthy tight end on the active roster at this time.
