Lutz made all three of his field goals and both of his extra points to total 11 points in Sunday's NFC Championship.
Lutz performed solidly for the Saints in the postseason, going 5-for-6 on field goals while hitting all four of his extra points. His lone miss came on a 52-yard field goal against Philadelphia in the divisional round. He'll now set his sights on again being one of the league's top kickers in 2019.
Lutz made 28 of 30 field-goal attempts and 52 of his 53 extra-point kicks in 16 games in 2018.
After a somewhat shaky first two seasons in New Orleans, Lutz was exceptionally accurate in 2018, converting 93 percent of his field goals. While his production lagged near the end of the season as the Saints offense stalled, Lutz still accounted for 136 total points, fourth most in the league. The third-year pro should remain a reliable playoff option for the Super Bowl-contending Saints and is expected to have plenty of job security entering 2019 while backed by one of the league's best offenses.
Lutz made both his field-goal tries but did not attempt an extra point in Monday night's 12-9 win over the Panthers.
Lutz converted from 46 and 24 yards on his respective attempts, but had his opportunities limited again by a New Orleans offense that struggled in comparison to its standard. The kicker has now gone four straight games without double-digit points, a noticeable decline from his five through the Saints' first 10 outings.
Lutz converted each of his two field-goal attempts and two extra-point attempts during Sunday's 28-14 win over the Buccaneers.
The Saints' high-octane offense has made Lutz a valuable commodity in many leagues. Following Sunday's performance, Lutz extended his streak of regular-season contests with a field goal to 34 games. Factoring in his efficiency and an opportunistic offense, Lutz remains a top option each week.
Lutz made his lone field-goal and extra-point try in Week 13's 13-10 loss to the Cowboys.
Lutz still hasn't missed since Week 5, but he didn't get as many opportunities as usual as New Orleans' offense was surprisingly stymied. In fact, his four points marked a season low. Fortunately, his upcoming matchup against the Buccaneers figures to be a higher-scoring affair.
