Fejedelem was ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Ravens with a wrist injury, Jim Owczarski of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Fejedelem sustained the injury in the second half Sunday and was subsequently ruled out, although the severity of the injury is unknown. Josh Shaw is in at safety for the Bengals with Shawn Williams doubtful with a back injury.
Fejedelem played 57 of 76 defensive snaps, posting 11 tackles (six solo) against the Bears on Sunday.
Fejedelem was allowed his highest snap count of the season because starter Shawn Williams (hamstring) was ruled out. Williams was able to practice in a limited fashion Wednesday -- something he couldn't do last week -- so Fejedelem may be snubbed from having another high-caliber performance.
The last time Fejedelem suited up as a starter, he posted just three tackles (two solo) against the Ravens in Week 1. The second-year pro has played seven games since his first start, but he's rarely played on defense so it's tough to tell if he's made improvements.
Fejedelem (hamstring) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Jay Morrison of the Dayton Daily News reports.
Fejedelem had been dealing with a hamstring issue that kept him limited in practice Wednesday, but after a full session Thursday, he should be a full for Sunday's matchup with the Steelers.
