Walker recorded one tackle and one interception during Sunday's 20-19 victory over the Panthers.
Walker has had trouble seeing consistent playing time this year, and his 15 defensive snaps Sunday are right in line with his season average. However, the third-round rookie may have made a case for a bigger role -- especially given Glover Quin's struggles -- after picking off Cam Newton just before halftime to preserve Detroit's 10-7 lead.
Walker (ankle) was a full participant in Friday's practice but is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Packers.
With Quandre Diggs (hand) also questionable, Walker could be due for an increase in snaps if he shakes this injury. He's unproven, however, with just three solo tackles in four games. Therefore, fantasy owners shouldn't start Walker in any setting.
Walker (ankle) was a limited participant in Wednesday's pratice, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.
Walker popping up on the injury report isn't good news for a Lions secondary that is already dealing with injuries to two starters, Quandre Diggs (hand) and Tavon Wilson (back). Glover Quin and Charles Washington currently represent Detroit's only healthy options at safety.
Walker could see more snaps in the secondary after Quandre Diggs fractured his hand Sunday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Walker saw 27 snaps and recorded one tackle after Diggs left Sunday's game in the third quarter and did not return. The rookie will seemingly take over as the Lions' primary free safety if Diggs misses time.
Walker recorded one tackle during Friday's preseason game against the Giants.
Walker got plenty of run Friday, taking 29 snaps on defense and another 11 on special teams. However, the rookie is yet to work himself into the first-string picture at safety, and he may have trouble doing so as long as Glover Quin, Tavon Wilson and Quandre Diggs stay healthy.
