Webster (hamstring) will not return to Sunday's game against the Rams, Matt Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Webster was ruled out to return will less than eight minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. Jamar Taylor (knee) has also been forced to leave Sunday's contest, so the 49ers don't have much left in the way of cornerback depth.... See More ... See Less

49ers' Ken Webster: Absent from injury report
Webster (hamstring) wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, Chris Biderman of The Sacramento Bee reports. Webster picked up a hamstring injury during this past Sunday's loss to the Dolphins, but it apparently wasn't very serious. The 24-year-old cornerback should be good to go moving forward, but his role is yet to be determined with Emmanuel Moseley (concussion) and Dontae Johnson (groin) still battling injuries.... Ken Webster: Cut loose by Miami
The Dolphins waived Webster (ankle) on Friday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports. Webster played eight games for the Dolphins in his rookie season and averaged 19 defensive snaps per game, but the team brought in a haul of free agents and rookies to shore up the secondary during the offseason. As a result, Webster was let go. The 24-year-old has valuable experience, though, so he could find a depth role elsewhere.... See More ... See Less -
Dolphins' Ken Webster: Ready to face Jets
Webster (ankle) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's divisional tilt against the Jets, Hal Habib of The Palm Beach Post reports. Webster kicked off the week with two straight limited practices, but he upgraded to full participation in Friday's session. The Mississippi product stands to serve as one of Miami's top rotational cornerbacks Week 14.... See More ... See Less -
Dolphins' Ken Webster: Unlikely to play Sunday
Webster (ankle) is doubtful for Sunday's game at Cleveland, Hal Habib of The Palm Beach Post reports. Webster was able to work as a limited practice participant this week but will still end up missing his fourth straight game. Nik Needham and Ken Crawley should continue seeing increased snaps in his expected absence.... See More ... See Less -
Dolphins' Ken Webster: Returns to practice
Webster (ankle) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Webster has missed three weeks with an ankle injury, but his return to practice suggests that he's close to returning to game action. If Webster can ramp up his activity over the next couple of days, he should be good to go Sunday against the Browns. In six games this season, the 23-year-old defensive back has recorded 11 tackles and one pass defensed.... See More ... See Less -
Dolphins' Ken Webster: Won't play Week 9
Webster (ankle) was ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jets. Webster sustained the injury and was carted off the field during Monday's loss to the Steelers and did not practice this week. It's unclear when the 23-year-old is expected to retake the field.... See More ... See Less -
Dolphins' Ken Webster: Leaves with injury
Webster was forced out of Sunday's game against the Redskins with a leg injury, Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald reports. Webster is usually just a depth asset, but with Xavien Howard (knee) and Johnson Bademosi (ankle) inactive, he was in line for an increase in snaps. With Webster off the field, the Dolphins have just three healthy corners.... See More ... See Less -
Patriots' Ken Webster: Returns to practice
Webster (undisclosed) was removed from the PUP list Monday, Zack Cox of NESN reports. Webster started training camp on the PUP list with the undisclosed injury but he was able to start practicing Monday. The 23-year-old was a seventh-round pick in April's draft and may need to make an impression in the preseason to earn a spot on the 53-man roster.... See More ... See Less
