Samia (illness) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.
Samia was placed on the COVID-19 list early last week after testing positive for the virus, but he's since cleared the league's protocols. The 23-year-old ceded starting duties at right guard to Ezra Cleveland prior to his positive test, though Cleveland has recently been dealing with an ankle issue.
Samia (illness) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Sunday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Samia tested positive for the virus and won't play in Monday's game against the Bears. The Vikings will begin contact tracing, and any high-risk close contacts won't travel with the team.
Samia (wrist) was a full practice participant Wednesday.
The 23-year-old was sidelined by the wrist injury in Week 6, but he was able to get healthy over the bye week. Samia should return to the starting post at right guard, though previous starter Pat Elflein (thumb) is nearing his return from injured reserve.
Samia (wrist) is ruled out for Sunday's game against the Falcons, Chad Graff of The Athletic reports.
Samia has recently started at right guard in place of Pat Elflein (thumb), but he'll now be forced to miss at least one contest due to a wrist issue. In his stead, Brett Jones stands to slot into the starting lineup.
