The 49ers are slated to sign Elliott to a two-year, $10 million contract, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. A third-round pick in 2020 by the Browns, Elliott spent the 2022 and 2023 seasons as a starter for Cleveland. Elliott's positive health status this offseason, combined with the loss of defensive tackle Malik Jackson, should help launch him toward a starting role alongside Taven Bryan.... See More ... His production is only middling with 6.0 career sacks in three seasons, but his athleticism is his selling point. The Missouri product ran a 5.02 in the 40-yard dash at 302 pounds and has a variety of pass-rush moves in his arsenal.... See More ... See Less
