The Titans released Elliott on Tuesday, Turron Davenport of ESPN reports.
Per the report, with regard to the decision to release Elliott, the Titans cited an undisclosed "incident" from Thursday at the team's facility. The defensive tackle, who was ruled out for this past Sunday's win over the Colts for personal reasons, recorded 11 tackles in five games for Tennessee prior to Tuesday's transaction.
