  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Produces two helpers in win

Schenn logged a pair of assists, three hits and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Ducks. This was Schenn's first multi-point performance since Nov. 25 versus the Rangers. The center hasn't gone more than two games without a point since that date, and he has three goals and three helpers over his last six outings. For the season, Schenn is at eight goals, 16 assists, 84 shots on net, 97 hits, 37 PIM and a minus-2 rating through 43 appearances.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Four-game, five-point streak

Schenn scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Blue Jackets. Schenn is on a four-game, five-point scoring streak that includes three goals, and he has 38 faceoff wins (59.4) in that span. You can't count on Schenn to be that proficient at the dot -- he has a career 47.6 winning percentage in 980 games over 12 seasons -- but you can catch lightning in a bottle occasionally with this 40-point pivot who sometimes goes on streaks like this. Be prepared to drop him when the magic ends. Because it will.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Nets breakaway goal

Schenn scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Friday's 4-0 win over the Senators. Schenn has two goals and two assists over his last five outings. He converted on a breakaway sprung by Dylan Holloway's pass. The 33-year-old Schenn has provided decent depth scoring while filling a middle-six role for a majority of 2024-25. The center has seven goals, 21 points, 80 shots on net, 91 hits, 31 blocked shots, 37 PIM and a minus-3 rating through 40 appearances this season.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Pots goal in defeat

Schenn scored his sixth goal of the season Sunday in a 4-2 loss to Buffalo. Schenn snapped a seven-game goal drought with the marker. The left-shot center added five shots on goal and a plus-1 rating in 18:43 of ice time. St. Louis' captain plays in all situations, but that hasn't translated to much success -- the second-line center has produced six goals and 19 points through 38 contests. Schenn has registered three consecutive 20-goal campaigns, but he's on pace for just 13 markers in 2024-25.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Logs helper in win

Schenn provided an assist and went plus-2 in Monday's 4-0 win over the Red Wings. Schenn has just one goal over 11 outings in December, but he's added five assists. The center has also brought an edge with 33 hits and 17 PIM this month. Overall, he's been in a top-six role for much of this season, producing five goals, 13 helpers, 71 shots on net, 89 hits, 30 PIM, 30 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating over 36 contests.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Generates assist in win

Schenn notched an assist, two hits and two blocked shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Rangers. Schenn has four points over seven outings in December. He hasn't found the same kind of success as the Blues' other top-six forwards, but he still offers depth scoring with a physical edge. The 33-year-old center is up to 16 points, 63 shots on net, 76 hits, 29 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating through 32 contests this season.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Finds twine in loss

Schenn scored an even-strength goal Thursday in a 4-3 loss to San Jose. Schenn snapped a six-game goal drought when he cut San Jose's lead to 3-2 at 5:34 of the final frame. In addition, St. Louis' captain compiled four shots on goal, five hits, one block and a plus-1 rating in 19:56 of ice time. Schenn has only found the back of the net five times on 61 shots this season, but he could be in line for positive regression, as his 8.2 shooting percentage is his lowest mark since the 2018-19 campaign. The left-shot center is at 15 points (two on the power play), 15 PIM and a minus-7 rating while averaging 17:51 of ice time through 30 contests. Three of Schenn's five markers in 2024-25 have been game-winning goals.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Assists in three straight games

Schenn produced a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Flames. Schenn has five points over his last five contests, and this helper was his first power-play point since Nov. 12 versus the Bruins. The 33-year-old is finding steady offense while playing in a second-line role. For the season, he's up to four goals, 10 helpers, 56 shots on net, 59 hits, 25 blocked shots, 13 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 27 outings. Schenn's scoring upside is limited compared to previous years, but he's also shooting just 7.1 percent, so he could bounce back over the course of the campaign.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Snags helper in win

Schenn recorded an assist, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Jets. Schenn has a goal, three assists and 13 hits over his last four contests. The Blues shuffled their lines a bit Tuesday, with Schenn flanked by Dylan Holloway and Jordan Kyrou -- the trio combined for three goals and five points. Schenn has had an alright season so far with 13 points, 54 shots, 58 hits, 24 blocked shots, 13 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 26 appearances while seeing steady top-six minutes. He has just one power-play point after logging double-digits in that category in nine of the last 10 campaigns, with the exception being the abbreviated 2020-21 season.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Scores, assists vs. Rangers

Schenn recorded a goal and an assist in Monday's 5-2 win over the Rangers. Schenn snapped a four-game pointless drought with his second multi-point game of the season, and the first one in which he recorded a goal and an assist. The 33-year-old playmaker has struggled with consistency, however, and that, along with his role as a middle-six forward, certainly limits his upside a bit in most formats. He has only six points (three goals, three assists) across his last 10 games.

Schenn scored the game-winning goal, added five shots on net, levied two hits and blocked two shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Bruins. Schenn tallied 2:53 into the extra session to secure the win for the Blues. He scored in both of the team's games against Boston this season. The center has four points over his last three outings, and he's up to three goals, six helpers, 46 shots on net, 36 hits, 19 blocked shots, 13 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 18 appearances. He continues to fill a top-six role while Robert Thomas (ankle) is out.

Schenn recorded two assists in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Sabres on Thursday. Schenn registered the primary assist on each of Brandon Saad's even-strength tallies. Schenn added four shots, one block, four hits and a plus-2 rating in 18:20 of ice time to round out a solid performance. The left-shot center has picked up points in back-to-back contests, and Thursday marked his first multi-point outing of the season. Schenn has accounted for two goals, six assists, 13 PIM, 17 blocks, 34 hits, two takeaways and a minus-5 rating across 17 games.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Ends goal drought Tuesday

Schenn scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Bruins. The 33-year-old center opened the scoring midway through the second period, snapping a 13-game goal drought by tapping home a rebound with the man advantage. It was just Schenn's second goal of the season and first power-play point, and through 16 contests he's managed only six points despite a consistent shift in the top six and on the first power-play unit.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Generates assist in loss

Schenn had an assist, one shot on net and two PIM in Saturday's 5-2 loss to Montreal. Schenn's drive to the net in the second period was rebuffed by Sam Montembeault, but the ensuing sequence let to Jake Neighbours' game-tying tally. The assist was Schenn's second in as many games and third over the last four. He had practiced on the top line earlier this week, presumably as a potential replacement for Robert Thomas (lower body), but he's been back home centering the second line in the two games since. Schenn did a reasonable impression of Thomas, the Blues' faceoff leader (62.6 percent), by winning 15 of 22 (68.2 percent) draws Saturday.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Moves to top line

Schenn centered the top line at Wednesday's practice, Jeremey Rutherford of The Athletic reports. Schenn bounced between the second and third lines through seven contests but now looks like the replacement for Robert Thomas, who is expected to miss at least six weeks with a fractured ankle. The club likely hopes Schenn, who has one goal on 21 shots (4.8 shooting percentage) and one assist, can spark a team that is starving for offense thus far, ranking 22nd with 2.71 goals per game.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Chips in with assist

Schenn notched an assist, three shots on goal, two hits and two PIM in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Hurricanes. Schenn has two points through six contests this season. He's been listed on the third line, but with 17-plus minutes of ice time in five of his six appearances, he's functioned more as a top-six forward. The veteran center has added 19 shots on net, 17 hits, eight blocked shots and a minus-3 rating. Schenn maintains a decent shot volume and racks up hits, but he needs to display a little more consistency on offense.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Completes comeback in overtime

Schenn scored the game-winning goal on a game-high seven shots in Thursday's 5-4 overtime win over the Sharks. Schenn scored 45 seconds into overtime to complete the Blues' rally from a three-goal deficit. The 33-year-old has played on the third line to begin the season, but his ice time has been more in line with a top-six player, so he should still receive plenty of chances to contribute. Schenn was limited to 20 goals and 46 points in 82 appearances last year, but he's been over the 50-point mark in four of the last six campaigns.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Offers helper Wednesday

Schenn notched an assist in Wednesday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Stars. Schenn had his ups and downs again in 2023-24, but he posted five goals and four assists over eight games in April. The 32-year-old forward produced 46 points over 82 contests this season, his lowest total in a full-length campaign since 2013-14. He added 170 shots on net, 169 hits, 51 blocked shots, 56 PIM and a minus-22 rating while mainly seeing top-six usage.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Scores 20th

Schenn scored a goal in Sunday's 4-1 win over Seattle. In addition to his 20th goal of the season, Schenn had four shots, two PIM and a plus-1 rating. At age 32, the forward's days of hitting 70 points and approaching 30 goals are likely over, but he remains a valuable depth player.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Goal, assist in win

Schenn scored a power-play goal on three shots and added an assist in Sunday's 6-5 shootout win over the Ducks. Schenn has four goals and a helper through four games in April after potting just two goals with eight assists over 25 games in February and March combined. The 32-year-old's play has improved, but it's likely too late to get the Blues into the playoffs. He's at 19 goals, 42 points (12 on the power play), 159 shots on net, 168 hits, 52 PIM and a minus-23 rating through 78 appearances in a top-six role.
