Kane scored a goal on three shots, doled out seven hits, added four PIM and blocked three shots in Tuesday's 5-4 shootout win over the Golden Knights. Evan Bouchard's blast from the point created a rebound that Kane had no trouble burying for the Oilers' fourth goal. Kane is on a tear with eight goals and an assist over his last eight games while adding 35 hits in that span. He's up to 11 tallies, 20 points (four on the power play), 83 hits, 44 PIM and 69 shots on net through 21 appearances this season.... See More ... See Less

Oilers' Evander Kane: Runs roughshod over Ducks
Kane scored a goal on four shots, added a power-play assist, levied 10 hits and notched two PIM in Sunday's 8-2 win over the Ducks. Kane was a force in multiple ways Sunday. He got the Oilers on the board just over a minute after the Ducks' first goal and later assisted on Mattias Ekholm's closing tally in the third. The 10 hits were a season high for Kane, who also took a trip to the sin bin for only the second time in his last 10 outings. The winger has seven goals and one helper over his last seven games, and he's up to 10 tallies, nine assists, 66 shots, 76 hits, 40 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 20 contests overall.... Oilers' Evander Kane: Buries goal in win
Kane scored a goal on five shots and added two hits in Friday's 5-0 win over the Capitals. Kane has six goals over his last six games, but he hasn't recorded an assist in that span. The 32-year-old winger continues to look good in a top-six role this season. He's at 17 points, 62 shots on net, 66 hits, 38 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 19 appearances. His play has been steady amid a lot of line shuffling as the Oilers search for forward combinations that will lead to sustained success.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Evander Kane: Tallies in Monday's loss
Kane scored a goal on four shots, logged four hits and added 14 PIM in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Panthers. Kane scored in the first period, but his first of two minor penalties allowed the Panthers to jump-start their comeback on the power play. The 32-year-old winger has five goals and two assists over his last five contests. For the season, he's at 16 points, 55 shots on net, 63 hits, 38 PIM and a minus-4 rating. He's never topped 57 points in a full season, but he's off to a blistering pace in 2023-24.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Evander Kane: Wins game with hat trick
Kane scored three goals including the overtime winner in Wednesday's 4-3 victory over the Kraken. The 32-year-old winger didn't get to work until there was less than seven minutes remaining in regulation, but Kane single handedly erased a 3-1 lead for Seattle with his seventh career hat trick, and a natural one at that. After a sluggish start that saw him manage only one assist through his first five games, Kane has caught fire with five multi-point performances in his last 10 contests, giving him seven goals and 15 points through 15 games on the season.... Oilers' Evander Kane: Deposits empty-netter
Kane scored a shorthanded empty-net goal in Monday's 4-1 win over the Islanders. Kane continues to chip in well in November, with two goals and four helpers through six contests. The winger is up to 12 points, 40 shots on net, 54 hits, 24 PIM and a minus-3 rating through 14 contests overall. While he remains on the second power-play unit, Kane's even-strength play (nine points) in a top-six role make him a strong fantasy option, especially in formats that reward his physicality.... Oilers' Evander Kane: Collects assist in win
Kane produced an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Kraken. Kane has slowed down a bit on offense with just two helpers over his last four games following a stretch of three multi-point efforts over four contests. The winger set up Zach Hyman's opening tally midway through the first period. Kane has 10 points, 36 shots on net, 48 hits, 24 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 13 outings this season. He has been embracing his role as a prototypical power forward.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Evander Kane: Two points in loss
Kane posted a goal and an assist along with six shots in the Oilers' 4-3 loss to the Stars on Thursday. Kane opened the scoring for the Oilers, knotting the score at 1-1 off a shot in the slot that beat Scott Wedgewood. Kane would also pick up an assist on Sam Gagner's second goal. After struggling out the gate with just one assist in five games, Kane has been on fire of late, scoring three goals and seven points in his last four games to give him eight points on the season. The Canadian forward should continue to see time in the Oilers' top-six forward core and second power-play unit.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Evander Kane: Three points in Heritage Classic
Kane tallied a goal and two assists in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Flames in the Heritage Classic outdoor game in Edmonton. Kane picked up assists on Brett Kulak's opening goal in the first period and Vincent Desharnais' tally in the third before adding an empty-netter, his second goal on the campaign. The 32-year-old Kane is now up to six points (two goals, four assists) through eight contests this season, with five of his points coming in the last three games. He should continue skating in a top-six role while logging time on Edmonton's second power-play unit.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Evander Kane: Picks up two points in Twin Cities
Kane posted a power-play goal and an assist in Tuesday's 7-4 loss against the Wild. Kane had a busy evening, posting three shots on goal and four hits in 19:49 of ice time with a fighting major after a dustup with Brandon Duhaime. The 32-year-old had managed just a single assist across five games with a minus-6 rating, so perhaps this strong performance will jump-start his season. The Rangers loom next on the schedule Thursday.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Evander Kane: Garners helper in win
Kane notched an assist in Tuesday's 6-1 win over the Predators. The helper was Kane's first point in three contests this season. The rough-and-tumble winger has added 10 hits, five shots on goal and a minus-4 rating, but he's yet to take a penalty. Kane was on the top line with Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl as the Oilers looked to spark their offense after opening the season with a pair of losses. Kane should remain in a top-six role regardless of how coach Jay Woodcroft organizes his lines.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Evander Kane: Snaps slump in loss
Kane logged an assist, three shots on goal and three hits in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Golden Knights in Game 6. Kane entered Sunday on a six-game point drought, failing to provide the supporting offense that the Oilers needed more of to keep their playoff run going. The winger had five points, 52 hits, 46 PIM, 38 shots on net and a minus-3 rating in 12 playoff appearances. He should return to a top-six role again in 2023-24.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Evander Kane: Opens scoring on power play
Kane scored a power-play goal on three shots and added six hits in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Kings in Game 5. Kane's marker at 8:08 of the first period was the first of five goals between the teams in the opening frame. The Oilers opted to load up their top six after a shaky Game 4 win Sunday, but it was converting on two of three power plays that helped them get the win this time. Kane has three goals, one assist, 17 shots on net, 25 hits, eight PIM and a minus-1 rating through five playoff outings.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Evander Kane: Supplies goal in Game 4
Kane found the back of the net in Edmonton's 5-4 overtime victory over LA in Game 4 on Sunday. Kane's marker came late in the third frame to tie the contest at 4-4. It was his second goal and third point in four playoff outings this year. That's not at the same level as his seven goals and nine points in seven appearances he recorded during Edmonton's 2022 series against LA, but his recent offensive production is nothing to complain about. He's also been a valuable physical presence with 19 hits in the 2023 postseason.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Evander Kane: Fills empty cage
Kane scored an empty-net goal on three shots, dished three hits, blocked two shots and added two PIM in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Kings in Game 2. Kane has a goal, an assist, five shots, nine hits and six PIM through two playoff contests. The 31-year-old winger will continue to see top-six minutes for the Oilers, and his ability to chip in over most fantasy-relevant categories could make him a solid option for postseason pools. He had 28 points, 124 hits and 146 shots on net in 41 regular-season contests.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Evander Kane: Snaps five-game goal drought
Kane tallied a goal in Edmonton's 5-2 win over San Jose on Thursday. Kane found the back of the net late in the third period to extend the Oilers' lead to 5-2. That ended his five-game goal-scoring drought, during which he was limited to an assist. Kane's finished the regular season with 16 goals and 28 points in 41 outings.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Evander Kane: Picks up helper in win
Kane notched an assist, five shots on goal, two hits, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Ducks. Kane has a modest three-game point streak going, earning two goals and an assist in that span. The winger's success coincides with a massive uptick in shots -- he has 21 shots on net during his streak compared to just 19 over the eight games prior. For the season, Kane has 15 goals, 12 helpers, 128 shots, 103 hits, 47 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 36 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Evander Kane: Tallies in Thursday's win
Kane scored a goal on five shots, added eight hits and blocked two shots in Thursday's 2-0 win over the Kings. Kane put the Oilers up 1-0 in the last minute of the first period. That was ultimately all the offense they needed. The 31-year-old winger has scored in back-to-back contests since snapping a four-game point drought. For the season, he's up to 15 tallies, 11 helpers, 123 shots on net, 101 hits, 45 PIM and a minus-7 rating through 35 outings.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Evander Kane: Reaches 300 career goals
Kane scored a goal on 11 shots and added four hits in Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Golden Knights. A day after Leon Draisaitl reached 300 career goals, he set up Kane's marker to get to the same milestone. Kane's goal also held up as the game-winner in Tuesday's high-scoring contest. The 31-year-old winger has managed five tallies and an assist through 10 outings in March, though he snapped a four-game drought Tuesday. For the season, he's at 25 points, 118 shots, 93 hits, 45 PIM and a minus-8 rating through 34 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Evander Kane: Hats off for sixth time
Kane delivered a hat trick Saturday in a 6-4 win over Seattle. Three shots, three goals -- the hattie was Kane's sixth in the NHL during the regular season and second this year. He opened the scoring at 1:35 of the first with a wrist shot from above the left circle. And he struck 43 seconds into the second with a one-timer. Kane completed the trick with a wrister glove side at 10:20 of the third that stood as the winner. He also has two postseason hat tricks, both last May.... See More ... See Less
