  • Jets' Adam Lowry: Solid penalty kill expert

Lowry tallied three shorthanded goals, a new career best, in 79 games this season. Lowry averaged over two minutes of ice time on the penalty kill for the third consecutive season which no doubt factored into his five shorthanded points. With the 29-year-old center under contract for four more years, he should continue to feature prominently in this role moving forward.

  • Jets' Adam Lowry: Scores in victory

Lowry scored a goal while adding four shots and four hits in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Avalanche. Lowry got the Jets on the board in the third period, deflecting Josh Morrissey's shot past Darcy Kuemper to tie the game at one. The 29-year-old center has 13 goals and eight assists on the season. More valued for his physical play in Winnipeg's bottom six, Lowry has 231 hits in 76 games.

Lowry scored an empty-net goal on two shots and added three hits in Monday's 4-2 win over the Canadiens. Lowry sealed the Jets' win with 1:29 left in the third period. The goal was just his second in nine games since he returned from the COVID-19 protocols. The 29-year-old is at 12 tallies, 19 points, 98 shots on net, 212 hits, 52 PIM and a plus-1 rating in 71 contests this season.

  • Jets' Adam Lowry: Pokes in goal

Lowry scored a goal on two shots, added three hits and blocked two shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Kings. Lowry's second-period tally cut the deficit to one goal, but the Jets couldn't find an equalizer. He got on the scoresheet for the first time in five games since he cleared the COVID-19 protocols. The 29-year-old is up to 11 tallies, 18 points, 89 shots on net, 205 hits, 52 PIM and a plus-3 rating in 67 contests this season. The physicality makes him a solid option in DFS and deeper season-long fantasy formats.

  • Jets' Adam Lowry: Returning against Jackets

Lowry (COVID-19 protocols) will be in action versus Columbus on Friday, Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet reports. Lowry is back in the lineup following a three-game stint in the league's COVID-19 protocols. Prior to his absence, the 28-year-old winger had racked up six goals in his previous 11 appearances, along with one assist, 25 shots and 40 hits. With the trade deadline roster shake-up that included Zach Sanford, Mason Appleton and Andrew Copp, it's not immediately clear where Lowry fits into the lineup, though it will almost certainly be a middle-six role.

  • Jets' Adam Lowry: Enters protocols, out Sunday

Lowry has entered the league's COVID-19 protocols and will not play Sunday in Chicago, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports. Jeff Malott was recalled from AHL Manitoba to fill the spot in the lineup vacated by Lowry. Look for another update once Lowry has cleared protocols and is able to return to game action.

  • Jets' Adam Lowry: Scores shortie Friday

Lowry scored a shorthanded goal and added three hits in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Avalanche. Lowry's goal late in the first period gave the Jets a 3-0 lead, but it was all Avalanche over the final 40 minutes. This was Lowry's second shorthanded tally in the last four games. The 28-year-old forward has picked up four of his 11 points this season while on the penalty kill. He's added 152 hits, 58 shots on net, 42 PIM and a plus-4 rating in 52 outings.

Lowry contributed eight hits and seven PIM in a 5-2 win over the Predators on Saturday. Lowry took just one shot, but he still left his mark on this one. The left winger has 22 PIM over his last six contests, to go along with 19 hits in the same span but no points.

  • Jets' Adam Lowry: Gets physical in loss

Lowry delivered seven hits in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Penguins on Sunday. Lowry has not scored a goal since Dec. 3 against New Jersey, but he has been providing plenty of hits. The 28-year-old has seven games with five-plus hits during that span, helping him to 114 hits in 38 games.

  • Jets' Adam Lowry: Starts fast in win

Lowry scored a goal in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Oilers. Lowry sniped a long-range shot that Mikko Koskinen couldn't pick out, giving the Jets a lead just 2:09 into the contest. The goal was Lowry's first since Oct. 23. The 28-year-old has struggled with just four points, 15 shots on net and a plus-3 rating in 15 contests. He's added 43 hits and 12 PIM from a third-line role, but it doesn't appear the Missouri native will approach the scoring pace that yielded 10 goals and 24 points in 52 outings last season.

  • Jets' Adam Lowry: Ignites offense Saturday

Lowry scored a goal on two shots and led all players with seven hits in a 6-4 win over Nashville on Saturday. Lowry got the Jets on the board 2:42 into the game, getting behind the Nashville defense and beating Juuse Saros five-hole with a backhand move to make it a 1-1 game. It was the first goal of the year for the veteran Lowry, who had just one assist in four games coming into the night.

  • Jets' Adam Lowry: Offers shorthanded assist

Lowry logged a shorthanded assist, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Sharks. Call it one for old time's sake -- Lowry set up Andrew Copp's second-period tally. That duo used to skate together on the Jets' third line, but Copp was promoted to the second line to begin this year. After putting up 24 points in 52 outings last year, Lowry is likely worthy of a bump in role as well, but he'll likely be confined to a middle-six role for the bulk of 2021-22. With the potential for 30 points and 200 hits in a full season, Lowry's fantasy appeal is limited to deeper formats.

  • Jets' Adam Lowry: Deposits lone goal in loss

Lowry scored a goal on two shots and added five hits in Sunday's 5-1 loss to the Canadiens in Game 3. Lowry gave the Jets some life with his tally at 17:51 of the second period, but that was it for the offense. The 28-year-old forward has been productive with two goals, two assists, 12 shots on net and 39 hits through seven playoff contests. The Jets haven't been able to replace Mark Scheifele's offense during the star center's suspension. Lowry will be one of many players called upon to step up if their season is to continue beyond Monday's Game 4.

The 28-year-old Lowry's assist was his first point in three playoff games -- he's added six shots and 16 hits in a third-line role. The Missouri native posted 24 points, 161 hits and 81 shots in 52 regular-season outings.

Lowry (upper body) had two shots and three hits in a 2-1 loss to the Senators on Monday. Lowry, who sat the previous four games with his injury, provided the Jets with just under 18 minutes of ice time -- nearly half of it on special teams -- and won eight of 12 faceoffs (66.7 percent), but he was held off the scoresheet for the eighth straight game.

  • Jets' Adam Lowry: Will play Monday

Lowry (upper body), as expected, will be in action versus Ottawa on Monday, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports. Lowry is slated to jump into a third-line center role following his four-game absence due to his upper-body issue. While the Jets remain without Nikolaj Ehlers (upper body), the return of Lowry will provide the team with some much-needed forward depth. Prior to getting hurt, Lowry racked up six goals and four helpers in his last nine contests, including four power-play points, and he could be a solid fantasy option the rest of the way.

  • Jets' Adam Lowry: Monday return expected

Lowry (upper body) is expected to return to the lineup Monday in Ottawa, Mitchell Clinton of NHL.com reports. Lowry has missed the past four games with an injury that was reportedly to his neck rather than his head. His return should provide a much-needed boost for the struggling Jets penalty kill, which has allowed four goals over the past four games.
