Hurricanes' Stefan Noesen: Hasn't scored in a month
Noesen failed to crack the scoresheet for the 11th straight game in Saturday's 4-0 loss to the Golden Knights. While it's fair to say Noesen's teammates didn't help matters either, the fact remains Noesen hasn't registered a point since his two-point effort against the Capitals on Feb. 14. He continues to skate primarily on the Canes' fourth line, which diminishes his fantasy appeal, though Noesen also features on the team's first power-play unit (2:46 average TOI).... See More ... Hurricanes' Stefan Noesen: Two points including GWG
Noesen scored the game-winning goal on the power play and added an even-strength assist in Tuesday's 3-2 victory over the Capitals. The 'Canes only had the man advantage for 31 seconds the entire night, but Noesen made those seconds count as he tipped home a Brady Skjei point shot midway through the second period for the night's final goal. Noesen has multi-point performances in two of the last three games, but his bottom-six role at even strength limits his fantasy upside even as he seems to have found a home on the Carolina power play. On the season, the 30-year-old journeyman has 10 goals and 27 points through 50 games, with about half that production (seven goals, six helpers) coming on the PP.... See More ... See Less -

Hurricanes' Stefan Noesen: Stealthy producer
Noesen earned a power-play assist in Friday's 5-4 overtime win over the Sharks. Noesen has a unique fantasy profile because he's utilized on the No. 1 power-play unit but otherwise shows up on the fourth line for 5-on-5 shifts. A sneaky offensive producer, Noesen has earned eight goals, 15 assists and a plus-7 rating through 45 games, and 12 of his points have taken place on the man advantage.... See More ... See Less -

The 29-year-old has eight goals and 20 points in 37 contests in 2022-23.... See More ... See Less -
Hurricanes' Stefan Noesen: Exits early Tuesday
Noesen (lower body) won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Rangers. Noesen was injured in the first period. He tried to test it out before the start of the second, but was quickly ruled out. He's posted eight points over his last 10 games, so the 29-year-old's absence could be felt in deeper fantasy formats if he can't play Thursday versus the Predators.... See More ... See Less -
Hurricanes' Stefan Noesen: Opens scoring on power play
Noesen scored a power-play goal on three shots in Friday's 4-0 win over the Panthers. Noesen has been quite effective in the latter half of December, posting five goals (three on the power play) and an assist over his last eight contests. The 29-year-old has earned 10 of 18 points with the man advantage this season, as the Hurricanes have often opted to use him as a net-front presence. He's on pace to shatter his career high of 27 points from 2017-18 thanks to his power-play role. Noesen has added 73 shots on net, 51 hits, 17 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 35 outings.... The 29-year-old is on a four-game point streak and has only been held off the scoresheet once in his last six contests. Hurricanes' Stefan Noesen: Provides game-winner Thursday
Noesen scored a goal in Thursday's 3-2 win against Seattle. Noesen's marker came at 2:08 of the second period, and put Carolina up 3-0. The 29-year-old has been doing well lately, recording two markers and six points in his last nine games.... See More ... See Less -
Hurricanes' Stefan Noesen: Playing for keeps this season

Noesen is trying to stick around for a full NHL season for the first time since he logged 72 games for the 2017-18 Devils. Noesen shared the team lead in shots on goal and delivered a club-best four hits Tuesday.... See More ... See Less -
Hurricanes' Stefan Noesen: Contributes power-play helper
Noesen logged a power-play assist and two PIM in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Kings. Noesen got some run in the top six when Teuvo Teravainen (upper body) was out, Teravainen's absence ended Saturday, and Noesen was back in a fourth-line role at even strength. He still picked up his fourth point in the last five games, and his role on the top power-play unit means his offense is unlikely to totally disappear at any point. Noesen has three goals, eight helpers, seven power-play points, 48 shots on net, 13 PIM and 26 hits in 24 contests this season.... See More ... See Less -

He's seen his even-strength minutes on the top line with Teuvo Teravainen (upper body) on injured reserve. Noesen has seven points, 37 shots on net, 13 hits and a minus-4 rating this season, and his style is typically suited more to a bottom-six role. Noesen scored a power-play goal on six shots, logged two hits and added two PIM in Monday's 3-2 shootout win over the Capitals. Noesen opened the scoring at 4:27 of the first period. The 29-year-old has been a bit of a pleasant surprise so far with five points, including three on the power play, in eight games to begin the year. The fourth-liner has added 19 shots, six hits and a minus-2 rating. His goal Monday was his first at the NHL level since the 2019-20 campaign, but his role on the Hurricanes' top power-play unit should allow him more good looks on offense.... See More ... See Less
